  • Master of the Wing Chun!

  • @IAmBetterThanYou23 Having more knowledge than you in a subject makes them a person to be demeaned? That's cool

  • @SuperTyrionLannister Only a faggot would take pride in having a vast amount of knowledge about juggling balls. Kill yourself.

  • @IAmBetterThanYou23 I'm a nerd and should kill myself because I know that fushigi makes crap contact juggling balls?

Try asking any contact juggler if they do fushigi and watch as their opinion of you goes from spectator to asshat with no clue. Go kill yourself you ignorant brat

  • his hair is adorable

  • People, keep the magic alive! Don't say is not David Bowie juggling the ball! Geez....

  • It's another guy's hands who can actually do this, he's behind Bowie with his arms through Bowie's armpits.

  • I spin poi balls and it's so much fun but I have been wanting to learn how to do this :). I also want to learn how to juggle in general... apparently I have a thing for balls XD

  • I bet thats not the first time bowie has seduced a young girl with his magic balls before whipping his snake out..

  • david bowie's hawtt;)

  • shame its not his hands isnt it !

  • Comment removed

  • @EyeLuvTDL Actually, you are mistaken. HE is not juggling them at all: it's someone else's arms altogether. It was a professional juggler who stood behind Bowie. And at the Michigan Renaissance Festival you can actually buy these acrylic balls. The people that sell them do all these tricks while they are walking around. Look for a youtube video about what went on behind the scenes while filming Labyrith.

  • @marksmith46, Thank you!! I've removed my original, embarrassing comment.

  • @EyeLuvTDL lol no need to be embarassed.

  • FUCK Michael Moschen. BOWIE YOU DA MAN!!!

  • Tutorial please :)

  • And all this time I thought that was Bowie juggling his own balls.

Yes, I meant that exactly how it sounds. *snickering*

  • When I first watched the fushigi commercial, I thought of this :)

  • David Bowie has nice balls.

  • oh gosh, please don't call this afushigi

  • @juntie9 so rigth its not fushigi its contact juggling by Michael Moschen and the look of david bowi uts kind of cool

  • @juntie9 Well that would be silly. Fushigi don't turn into snakes when you throw them at people!

  • He sure knows how to play with balls...

  • I wanna get a Fushigi just so I can tease my hair, draw my eyebrows on weird, stuff the crotch of my pants and pretend to be Jareth. YOU REMIND ME OF THE BABE.

  • @AngelofMusic101 Dont we all?

    What babe?

  • lolz that's fushigi

  • fushigi

  • First a crystal ball, then a snake, then a scarf, then a goblin...

  • LOL that should be in the Fushigi commercial...

"If you turn the Fushigi this way, it will show you your dreams" O_o wow....

  • David juggled my balls in a Burger King bathroom one time, long ago......

  • @ToadsMGodes

lol, that's such an off joke but lol none the less

  • Anyone notice how in this movie he looks like "The Emperor" from Final Fantasy and almost acts like him and for some reason he sounds like him?

  • @lorgy9 OMFG, You're right! I can't believe I didn't see this sooner! (And I play Dissidia all the time!) XD

  • Michael Moschen put his arms through the arms of david bowies costume

  • lol the reason im here is because i seen jew wario doing it and i remembered this movie

  • I. LOVE. HIS. HAIR.

  • My mom bought this for me on DVD today. I spazzed. Hard.

  • I loved this film when I was a real small. still fun to watch.

  • i never did understand why David Bowie kept waving his balls in her face.

  • The fact that the guy doing the juggling behind Bowie is doing it blindly is just amazing to me. Fuck yeah contact juggling guy.

    Also, here's a little story:

I grabbed a Fushigi out of the box (it was already open, and i was in a wholesale secondhand store, so i figured i was in the clear) and put it on the back of my hand, and waved around, and it fell right to the floor. I swear I almost cried. I haven't a clue why I thought it would work, but I did.

  • @tasteofmadness After a little practice, it becomes like riding a bike. ;)

  • @tasteofmadness I feel bad because I started laughing after reading your comment xD

  • @Shippou011 Lol it is a funny story, but I felt so upset during xDD

  • FUSHIGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @FaustHammacher13 CONTATCT JUGGLING!!!

  • So that's where they created Fushigi .....

  • I recall seeing a documentary that showed how they did this: a special effects crew member was kneeling on front of Bowie on the floor, out of the camera's range, while Bowie actually get his arms almost totally static.

  • @AChanceToLive, we know the guy who kindly out up the video says it at the top in his description.

  • I am now going to devote my life into being able to do this. how can i NOT after seeing this?

  • David Bowie didn't do this sadly, if you watch the DVD version, it has a documentary on how everything was done, and it was another guys hands that were doing the movements.

  • I want that david bowie edition fushigi, LOL

  • I wanna learn that!!!

  • Michael Moschen does all his juggling

  • Fushigi! The Magic Gravity ball! It's relaxing, EVEN THERAPEUTIC!!!

  • lmfao i can do this with my Fushigi Ball xD

  • btw its not his real hands doing that

they hired a professional to do the hand movements for him.

putting arms through sleeves etc etc. thats why u cant see his full arms

  • @ranger0810 the man who invented contanct juggleing

  • @ghost9431 Technically Michael Moschen didn't invent contact juggling, the basic moves have been done since at least the days of vaudeville and probably beyond. But he did bring it to public attention and probably worked to formalize it.

That in no way diminishes anything that he's done, just saying.

  • @Jourell1 everything you just said points to the fact that he DID invent contact juggling, dynamic manipulation as he puts it. yes the basic principles were around long before him BUT by bringing them together into one style he invented what we now know as contact juggling.

  • @UnusVolatiliAngelus I don't disagree, i was just pointing out that the basic principles came around earlier. That is why i say formalized rather than invented as such. But ultimately, it's all a matter of semantics and he did give us what we now know as contact juggling.

  • *Jareth continues to awesomely and oddly defy the laws of physics*- "But if you turn it this way, It shows you your dreams"....

Me: *tracks it with eyes perfectly*

    Jareth; "Don't forget the baby."

Me; *shakes self out of awed stupor* "I'm sorry what?"

Jareth; *slightly exasperated* "The baby? You're brother?"

Me; "...... Tell you what: teach me to do that and fool around for a while *wink*, and you can keep him!"

  • david bowie knows how to FUjIki lmao

  • @xElizabethAnn13x no liz i thought it was foosgigi! ;p;

  • i just watched this movie today and that guy scared the CRAP out of me! hahaha my friend called him a pedafile LMAO crazy movie.

  • Jareth: "But if you turn it this way... " *awesome contact juggling*

    Me: O.o;

Jareth: "It will show you your dreams"

Me: "yeah... I'll just see my dreams when I'm sleeping... >.<; it's easier that way"

  • I watched this movie at 3 am on sat and a gyre hrs later I went out and bought a fushigi (the ball) and I'm playing with it at this moment :D

  • The juggling was cool, but I will always remember this part of the movie for the creepy snowey white owl, those animals still scare the fuck out of me.

  • It's actualy not his arms

  • @musicifycation27 i think everyone knew that. :P he had a professional behind him. still was a good movie, and a good scene

  • lol i met moschen. he came to my high school!

  • well well well im so mighty and powerful look i can move this ball without dropping it

    i luv david bowie

  • I LOVE HIM!

  • Labyrinth: The first and longest Fushigi commercial

  • avampireconfesses . com

  • did you know thats not really him doing that its a performance juggler's hands sticking thru david's costume diong it lol but still its cool

  • my crystal balls show me everything i need to see

  • Bowie is awesome.

  • SARAH

    MOTHERFUCKING SNAKE

  • Why won't my fushigi turn into a snake? :(

  • @MegaMozartfan they patched it in 1987, they are still trying to fix david bowie's gender tho

  • @MegaMozartfan It's not a fushigi. Fushigi is a company that makes far inferior contact juggling balls. They are part acrylic and part metal ball. They are weighted badly and a straight up acrylic contact juggling ball is much better. Fushigi is ruining contact juggling by claiming it's easy to do and now people say things like "A 6 year old can do that, It's just fushigi" when it takes years to master

  • @acedovick you are completely right ive been a contact juggler for about 3 years and ive use metal and acrylic both the fushigi is not the best out there i agree with you there weight is off and standard 2 to 3" acrylic's are the best specially with beginners.

  • That wasn't david bowie, he didn't have that talent, someone stood behind him and slipped their hands through his cloak meaning someone else is good with david bowies balls XDDDDD

  • screw Toby gimme Bowie!!!

  • david bowie is good with his balls.

  • look again.. the ball is now a snake.. I'm on a horse

  • holy f*ck its a fushigi!!!! the gravity defing ball!!!

  • OMG it turned in to a snake! lol

  • @TheGoddessofmusic007

the fushigi cant trasform in snake....

  • It's not David Bowie contact juggling. It was Michael Motion sticking his arms through David Bowie's Costume. :P

  • jareth- blablahblahblah.....

    sarah- >.>...

jareth- are u listening to me!?

sarah- oh, srry, its just ur pants are so....revealing.....-

jareth- stop staring at my crotch! >.<

  • Do not buy the Fushigi are of poor quality and are NOT magic! You need to make years of practice to achieve a good level!

To begin, it is better to opt for a stage ball cuz the ball will fall continuously!! (cost 10$ in every juggling store, un can buy it online too) and when you are more practical buy a crystal (expensive, shatter when fall). I recommend you search on youtube "Choosing A Ball for One Ball Contact Juggling".

However...the hands of David Bowie are those of Michael Moschen.

  • Comment removed

  • That's a guy kneeling behind him with their face buried up his ass doing the juggleing

  • the orb is now a snake!

  • @herladystyx Look at the baby, now look at me, now back at the baby, now back at me...

  • This is the only reason I want to get Fushigi.

  • Now that is skilled ball juggling!

  • Awwwwww, that was a sweet conversation below, Happy juggling!

  • I HATE the fushigi. It demeans true contact juggling. It is nothing more than a poor attempt at what is being done in this movie.

  • Bowie is very good at playing with his balls.

  • * saying 'fushigiiii!'. It's not fushigi. Jeez

  • I really can't stand when people comment on contact juggling videos sy

  • What the hell is a Fushigi?

  • @BlakDethUponU

an over priced, poor quality piece of shit

  • @the1maggot Got one and found this much out? So did I.

  • @0BustyStClaire0

no i knew it before i bought it, i just bought it because it was available to practice lol

  • @the1maggot Well, I bought one too. It was awesome for the first week and a half, and now I can do the double arm switchy thing...but then it fell and broke...and I was all like FUCK. I JUST BROKE THE BUBBLE. CLUSTER FUCKING FUCK FUCKS. MOTHER FUCK. FUCK. (I felt a bit like Samuel L. Jackson...lol)

  • @0BustyStClaire0 lol yeah, that'll happen

i would suggest buying a Sil-x ball if you would like to continue practicing. its soft and wont break anything if you drop it

theres plenty of sites that sell them, jugglingstore (dot) com, neonhusky (dot) com, homeofpoi (dot) com just to name a few

  • @the1maggot What's an average price? (yes, I am too lazy to find out myself)

  • @0BustyStClaire0 i would recommend one from neonhusky. the ball is 100mm (about 4" compared to the fushigi which is 76mm / 3") in diameter, and has a good weight to it, and goes for $16.50

if you would prefer one similar to your fushigi ball, then homeofpoi has one the same size and weight for about $12.50

    happy shopping :)

  • @the1maggot Thank you very much!

  • @0BustyStClaire0 no problem

i'd also like to point you to contactjuggling (dot) org. there is tons of info and tutorials and such on there as well as an incredible and very helpful community on there, and we'd be happy to have ya :)

  • @the1maggot Yay! Wonderful. You are a good person.

  • @0BustyStClaire0 haha thanks, i try :D

  • @the1maggot ;D

  • @TheGoddessofmusic007 thats not a fushigi 0-o thats a crystal contact juggling ball, and thats not bowie, its Michael Moschen

  • "If you turn it this way" he says, as he does an impossible hand gesture.

  • Spoiler alert: That's not Bowie juggling.

  • David Bowie is probably the only blonde guy that can pull off the "Goth" look with real white hair

  • the guy who invented contact juggling put his hands through david bowie's costume and did it himself hahaha

  • @TheGoddessofmusic007 Screw the Fushigi, I want one of those!

  • He plays with his balls...

  • @TheGoddessofmusic007 Sorry. ^^;

  • 0:40, let's see a Fushigi do that!

  • It's actually not Bowie that's doing the actual juggling, its someone named Michael Moschen behind his costume ;D

  • Don't defy Me!

  • @TheGoddessofmusic007 Fushigi isn't even the original contact juggling.

  • its not a Fushigi.

  • non è fushigi. Questo è contact juggling e la fushigi sta sputtanando quest'arte come "trucco" vendendo le sue magic balls.

  • FUSHIGI!!!!!!

  • for all of you guys who keep going on about Fushigi look at the first minute of this, its explained /watch?v=AqEaafFDuz0

  • this is where they got the idea for the fushigi ball

  • Fushigi

  • Fushigi!!

  • Those are essentially the only CJ tricks I know, but reversed. And less smooth. -skitters away to practice-

  • Last time I watched the movie I'm like ZOMG FUSHIGI

  • FUUUUUUSHIIIIIIIIGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  • fushigi don't teach you that

  • FUSHIGI! lol jk David Bowie IS th Goblin King!

  • And considering that the guy doing that couldn't see what he was doing because he had to be crouched behind David Bowie as they did the shot, that's pretty damn amazing to be able to do that without being able to see it.

  • @XakFox Really? So it's like magnifying glasses. Do magicians use acrylics?

  • shes like holy fuck this bitch is magical!!! lol

  • @kuroneko388

Michael Moschen, the man controlling the ball, is the inventor of contact juggling, which is a type of juggling, and can be done with pretty much any smooth ball if that size and weight. Fushigi simply made it popular, but this was long before fushigi.

  • kay i deff posted that befor reading the description

  • @Panicckk haha least you corrected your mistake

  • thats actualy not david bowies hands. they used some famouse contact juggler and put his arms through the costume

  • @Panicckk actually they used the guy who invented contact juggling

  • Duzn't that Fushigi thing have sum kind of gyro in it? That's prob how it works. But I'm pretty sure the ones in this film didn't. Did any of u c the Labyrinth documentary yet? It is really good. N that alot cumin from me. I usually hate watchin behind the scenes for movies.

  • @Kuroneko388 nah it doesnt have a gyro in it, it just has a metal ball in the center so that it doesnt refract light... clear acrylics like the one shown here have a tendency to magnify light and can cause fires in sunlight. btw i have a fushigi and like it, but will be obtaining some actual acrylics in the near future... they look better

  • I could watch him juggle his balls all day long....

  • hands went through bowies suit and juggler did it LOELEAeaead

  • i adore contact juggling and this movie, i have been forever entranced with this sport

  • @poppinphenix sport? who in the right mind would ever call that a sport? more like a hobby.

  • What the thats so wierd i need to watch the movie

  • and so began my obsession with contact juggling

  • it wasnt really him contact juggling

  • FUSHIGI!

  • @zoezocool123

No. The Fushigi brand is terrible.

  • Lol. This movie couldn't be made today because I don't think a movie producer could sell the idea that a girl must decide to let some strange girlyman trade her baby brother with a glass ball.

  • I didn't know David bowie could do Fushigi

  • @Coheed2012 its not called fushigi. its contact juggling, and it was the creator of contact juggling, michael, whos arm was doing it. David couldnt learn it fast enough

  • It's actually not a crystal ball. It's a ball made out of Acrylic. It's cheap, and overpriced if you decide to buy them as they are marketed nowadays.

  • "i've brought you a gift." "what is it" "fushigi the magical gravity defying ball" lol

  • @Savannah666LaLaLa ROFLMAO

  • @epohnopulse thank you i'll be here all week lol

  • Their called 'tranquility balls' and thats what their made for, so it really isn't such a big trick

  • FUSHIGI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MusicIslikeSex1 Sorry to tell you, its none more then a ball. WHAT? TV LIED TO US? OMG! These tricks can be done with an orange... Google "contact juggling"

  • @TheHaZMaTBand cool, ima try that xD

  • @321beth321 It takes ALOT of practice and skill, I practice about 2 hours a day, and I have been for about 25 months, and only consitered average

  • @TheHaZMaTBand so, David Bowie must have practiced ALOT
