Buffy is a great tv show, Joss Whedon is a great writer and Buffy does have cheesy lines but it knows it is cheesy, Joss Whedon had buffy break the fourth wall before admitting this. It's one of the best tv shows written with certain episodes that were truly outstanding.

@kuribo1 umm i think comparing it to twilight is going a little far. at least in this one vampires still suck blood and kill people and things like that with the exception of two vampires and still monsters and don't care about getting discovered and stuff. whereas twilight the vampires are all sparkly and pretty and have rules that they get discovered other vampires will kill them. i like buffy the vampire slayer. i like twilight too but not as much.

Kind of like they did with Sex and The City. That was a funny skit for that series but it too was a poor representation of that series.

@triplerKorKorKo Personally, I dropped out of following the show when they brought in Michelle Trachtenberg.
I just did not like the character, and found that the show was lame. However, I did become addicted to Angel. IT was dark, edgy, and entertaining.
And then they made it lame by making it light hearted and dumb like Buffy with Trachtenberg.
