talk about scary? doom was not really, doom 2 was kinda, but doom three and the expansion pack was awsome. i mean it helped start the 3d game revolution but at this point it's just hard to get past the graphics.

@BigFreakingCacodemon The sound effects came with that song I used, I didn't edit them in. Think of it like: Sound effects came "synced" to song, I "synced" the song to my video. So they just were there.

That's the way it's meant to be. Everybody is hardened up against violence and musical atmosphere today it's almost inhuman. YOU say things that are just too true - the reason why doom is loved so much. You know what an art teacher said to me? "Young people are much more creative because they aren't as hardened". That's too true. I guess if you would design a game it would be better than some Crysis or Bioshock shit (admit it guys, that were NO dooms or strifes or monkey islands or...)

Saying that there were no gaming masterpieces since the mid-90's reeks of rose-tinted beer goggles. There've been plenty of unique games with excellent production value across the board. Just be more picky about what you go with.

But Doom 3 on the other hand is just like one of those Haunted Houses you see at your local carnival
