I enthusiastically supported Ron Paul in 2008, and gave his campaign quite a bit of money. I also was on board with him this time around, until I heard him support the "morning after pill".
Sorry Dr. Paul, but moral law trumps all other law, and I cannot support any form of abortion under any circumstances.
I positively can no longer support RP, nor do I support any other of the so-called Republican candidates. As things stand now, I will not be voting in the primary or general elections.
@baguazhang77 So if your significant other was brutally raped...Youd make her have the child and be forced to relive that experience for the rest of her life?
@MrMoBidnizz To answer your question, no I would not be a participant in a murder (abortion). Moreover, I would not subject my wife to the additional trauma of having the murder of an innocent child on her conscience.
Ever hear of adoption?
I happen to know someone who was raped and in the heat of the situation chose to have the unborn child murdered. She has been in debilitating mental anguish over this "choice" ever since.
What part of "thou shall not kill" do you not understand?
@baguazhang77 No point in arguing with somebody like you..Point being......Its a womans choice to choose....I am against it as a form of "Birth control" but if you are raped or raped by a family member(incest) you should be able to do what you need to do.
@MrMoBidnizz Way to cop out of an argument. Just try to slap a label on somebody such as there is no point in arguing with "somebody like them" (your insinuation is very clear), instead of addressing a question you clearly do not want to answer.
That is right out of the neocon play book. Interesting tactic for a Ron Paul supporter.
I ask again:
1) Why have the child murdered when adoption is also an option?
2) What part of "thou shall not kill" do you not understand?
The morning after pill prevents fertilization or implantation of the egg and is not an abortion. Paul is a doctor and should have known that or had the guts to speak up.
Policing the morning after pill is simple...you ban it. I'm not advocating that, but saying "how do you police its use" is silly...you do it the same as you police all the other substances/medications/materials that we police.
The more I hear from Ron Paul the less sense he makes.

Damn right. 10th Amendment. Sadly, it is the most forgotten and disregarded amendment in the Constitution.
