  • Great Song!! I'm a Brooklyn born African / American...From the Great and Powerful Igbo ancestry..This Song reminds me of my late Dad..He was very proud of his People, his Tribe, his Language, his Culture And Tradition..When he brought us home for 2 years to learn his culture, We Listened to this Timeless tune all day.. Pop had this song and others play in his car all day.

That powerful culture and Tradition i have vowed to keep and pass it on to my daughter.

    Long live Igbo People.

    Luv Y'all

  • men, u are the bomb!!! thanks soo much for uploadin this song. it reminds me way far back while i was teenager in Anambra state, i have a friend who always play this song, i fell inluv with this since then and i have looking for it. thanks

  • I love this track. Great music, great people and great Igbo tribe. Please upload all oriental brothers music.

  • Adieu Warrior! Your music remains evergreen in our lives. May your likes come the way of the Igbos again.

  • @ajoke07

"Nwanne awu enyi",the title, means your relation is not your friend. The music track starts with "Ihe ane zhi-e-zhi wu nwanne, anegi e-zhi enyi e-zhi" This means that it is only your relations who are explained to you as to how you relate to each other (by elders) and not your friends ,because you are naturally expected to know whom your friends are.

Please visit your u-tube account to see other explanatons.

    Thank you.

  • Code wit Iwu Nwoke oma ....Ihe Chinyere gi onye ana gi ..Iwu ome mgba okpa ike ...Ime la

  • Good music but I have a problem with the dance interpretation. i found it too modern and almost vulgar. They could have done a more traditional and decent theme.

  • i have to disagree this is the closest to traditional it could get, i understand if you were talking about some of the other oriental videos that were posted (for example, Anam Ele Chi) was veryyy vulgar and nothing close to traditional, in this video i think they did very well with the egwu-ukwu.

  • hi dear, I absolutely agree with you. I dont even recall watching this movie. I suspect that I wrote this for another song and maybe that one finished and it skipped to this. This is actually the best of all the songs both in rythmn and dance interpretation. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
