This is fake, no wash from the blades, no smoke or pressure from the exhaust, the mower keeps same sound and revs even underwater, no stress. There is no evidence whatsoever it was running. Some air bubbles but you would expect that submerging a mower. I believe mower wasn't turned on - audio was just super-imposed for effect. Also believe blades have been removed. Close your eyes and listen, it sounds just like a mower that is running on full being normally turned to idle. Publicity stunt.

guys, an engine can still ruin underwater as long as the seals are good enough. in this case, the engine is a single cylinder and those bastards are hard to get to. as long as the exhaust is just abover the water line, it can still run. in this video, the crocodile attacks the wheel, holding the lawnmower up. the exhaust in the little silvery grey box pn the side, which is still above the water line...the engine ran with the exhaust submerged until water got inside the combustion chamber

It was a publicity stunt by the zoo to make it seem as though the incident happened by accident while the keeper was mowing the lawn. They overlaid the audio of a lawn mower running but at you can see and hear the sound keeps going as the mower is submerged. Also there is no water being chopped around by the 'moving' blades.

Ummmm do you people not realise this is fake? The sound of the motor keeps going underwater (dunno any petrol or diesel engine that can run like that and there is no splash from the blades when the mower goes in the pool, plus that is a specially designed alligator pool, not a swimming pool - its shallow and looks like a doughnut.
