I clocked my best time - 57 minutes - last spring, then flipped over here and discovered someone had finished it in 37 MINUTES! B0 I'm thinking, enough practice, and creative use of certain glitches, 30 minutes or less is possible... Maybe I should have MegaMan carry a pizza thru the game. XP
Megaman 2 is great but Megaman 3 is the best. better overall soundtrack, Rush first introduced as well as the awesome powerslide(great for speedrunners like myself) and it was much harder.
@1xCloudStrifex1 Megaman 3 was harder? Weapons in 3 sucked *cough* Top Spin *cough* and you get too many E-Tanks, 9 in total,and you get one in every Dr. Wily castle stage. In Megaman 2 you had only 4. Try to beat 2 without the Metal Blade and Crash Bomber (which is literally impossible)
@gamereviewerbr oh i honestly dont care. i prefer 3 over 2 but just by a little. 3 had a better soundtrack IMO. at the end of the day, the music is what makes me decide which is better and megaman 3 had a better overall soundtrack to me. oh and the top spin isn't useless, people just dont know how to use it thats all.
The "Don't play games on a re-release, only play it on the original" statement is a crock of shit since they were made for those who didn't get the chance to pick them up the first time. Should Craig really expect a new gamer to pick up an NES as well as the cartridges which are very valuable these days?
@RoyStantz While Mega Man NES cartridges sell for much more than a lot of other NES games, they only start to get a lot more expensive than buying from the Virtual Console when you start getting in-box/mint/including posters lots. Right now you can go on ebay and get one for $8. Some people like the feel and experience of playing on the NES.
I could play it on the wily wars it has mega man 1 2 and 3 in 16 bit glory and wily towers it alowes you to use 8 of the power ups from one two and three and three items

4 had DustMan for one, best robot master ever, as well as skullman, it had the Flash Stopper and Rain Flush, some of the most overpowered weapons MegaMan ever had, and the stages looked much cleaner than the 3 before it and most importantly it's the most fun (2 has those crappy moments like the 4th Wily stage and other than the Metal Blade and Leaf Shield, the weapons suck)
