@cascadomec yes this program currently supports the MD2 Animated mesh format for characters but will soon have support for .X. all popular Static mesh formats are supported in this as well - view my tutorials for a guide on how to do this

funny how Abyssal engine is so not known yet...im sure they are the BEST engine made, betetr than Unreal Engine 3 and im sure of 4 when it comes out. Its fairly new, no magor games made with it yet but im sure they will soon...ill buy a 10000$ license maybe soon.

Um, I think they're a bit too far behind the ball on this one. With the Bioware & Bethesda 3D engines available this is sadly a decade late and a few million dollars short.

@TronixGuy93 Hmm this is a free Engine not for commercial games the engine is compatible of all the things like you see in Bioware and Bethesda but they cost money to include considering i used 100% free tools i think that this engine is pretty good, but That said it is heavily in development at present and who knows some of those Fancy features that people crave could well be featured in later development.. That said Look at RPG Maker it is about 20 years out of date but people still love it

RPG Builder 3D V0.3.59.2 and up is a application suite. The meshes included in this project is for a visual effect so show you what you can do. Although the program is as simple as drag and drop. It's advanced features include model importing. So really, if you can model. This is a great program to test your models out with. A collision script with a terrain based collision as well (meaning you can walk up your models). So its a pretty good program if you ask me

you shouldn't code the text of the NPC's when handing out the program, you should make a file (maybe gui) with all there names id's and such, and put below all that text= and have people write for them :)

Awesome, are there things like AI in there and the such. Will we be able to create our own battle system and the like? You know what'd be cool? If I could record myself saying something on a mic. and then put it into the game. And you know, play with triggers etc.

The Ai is cming pre 0.4 release - there is also going to be alot of new events added by then which will involve sound importing, messaging, camera effects, music changers and a whole host of other things just keep up on the forum and you will be very pleased

If you are running on vista. That is a big disadvantage to the program. I suggest getting XP and getting the newest patch to the game

Well then try updating to the latest version and re-opening the map. It might be because you have made to many moutains, or you are not running on Directx 9

Yes but its just a trial and you can only view items, and if you get the full version you still need to learn mysql 2.0 and have a database and a connection to the server.
