  • This is SO COLORFUL and lovely, tasty looking Mary Ann!

  • @LESTER7L1 You ought to give it a try, Lester! It is really, really good!

  • You have some awesome recipes, I make sure that I catch all of your videos but I don't always comment.

This is great recipe for this time of year when the weather is getting cooler.

  • @fistoffries Thank you so much! I am so happy I can be of help. This is really a delicious meal. Your support means a lot to me. Take care!

  • @rockybarragan Thank you Rocky! I love chipotle too. A lot!

The dogs adore rice but it also reheats beautifully in the microwave.

Poor Pete must miss your home cooking soooo much.

    Big warm hugs !

  • @mukwah1111 You have no idea how much I miss him! I can not wait to see him in December! My heart is hurting. Thank you for coming by my darling friend!

  • Delicious as always! I really enjoy your videos! It is so nice to come home after a hard day's work and just see something "normal" in this crazy world.

  • @dljones33 Haha! Thank you so much. I really appreciate your support.

  • This looks delicious! And I always have left over rice so I'm looking forward to your rice cakes and fritters recipes :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Very cool. I will make a video soon. I hope you are doing spectacularly well Lila!

  • Can't beat this one!! Nice job!

  • @TheVittleVlog Thanks again my friend! I hope you are well!

  • I like this recipe because it shows what seems to me to be a thrice-cooking method. Things cannot always be thrown in together and cooked all at once. (Happily, there are so many exceptions!) As you pointed out, I seem to have to take out some sauce, add the thickener, mix well, observe, THEN add it back. You just did it bravely which is fine when you know your stuff. A solid uprating, and good presentation! This channel is my guilty pleasure, sunny lady! xo

  • @CuteCatFaith I agree! Mixing the flour in separately is probably a wiser choice! I am so happy you like the channel Lisa! Your support means a lot to me!

  • looks good!!! do u have any really yummy recipe on a curry?

  • @misaki52008 Yes! I will be uploading a chickpea curry and a chicken curry with fruit soon. I also have delicious curry dishes on the website. Check them out! Thanks for watching!

  • I made "too much food" yesterday, wow, LOTS of meat, which is not typical in our home, but yay, cuz I cooled and stored it correctly and will only have to reheat today. (Some was immediately frozen and will have to be cooked.) We buy seasonal bargains and I also glean sometimes, which is legal in France. That is a great pot! I've been married so long, I must be on my fourth one! I wear them out! Uprated. I think the sweet potato is a winner.

  • @slobomotion Thanks Lisa!

  • I can't wait to make this. I like to cook large quantities when I have time and then freeze in small portions for the days I don't have time. This looks like it would freeze well

    Thanks Mary Ann

  • @jcrefasi1 Absolutely! This will freeze beautifully. Thank you for watching!

  • Four new videos in one day? wow :D made my day. Wish I was living nearby your house. SO I could crash your place everyday for lunch :)

  • @arianadourre That would be nice! Thanks for coming by!

  • why do you peel all the tomatoes in all your recipes? is there a big reason? just curious.

  • @saintbeast24 I really don;t like the cooked peels in my stews and sauces. Furthermore, I was told that the tomatoes here have 9 different fumigating chemicals on them so I rather play it safe! Thanks for watching!

  • ooh that looks super yummy. thanks!!

  • @TheCulinaryTeen16 You are welcome! Thanks for watching!

  • This is a great rainy day dish. Good job Mary Ann!

  • @TroysKitchen Thank you Troy!

  • I always use cold water with the flour, not hot.....I would think the hot would make the flour lump up a bit.......great recipe BTW...ty, O

  • @rangatang0624 Thank you! Whatever works for you is great!
