dont buy this laptop it will fall apart without abuse. The earphone jack and mic jack got pushed in so cant use it hdmi port became loose letters on keys smudge (my a key) overheats shit battery. Charger port piece broke scratches easily on keyboard. Looks nice though. Graphic card sucks processor meh. Nice amount of USB ports. Other than that more cons than pros. Just spend your money on something that is worth it you pay for what you get

mine had this strange defect where the power on button didnt work sometimes with a charged battery, even with the AC in. I would have kept it if it didnt have the problem. Other than that it was a cool laptop

bad thing about this laptop is the fan being underneath the laptop and when it heats, the hot air has no where to go, then it gets really hot.

Are you sure the cursor is not turned off? Look right above the touch pad and see the light, it should be white, not like yellowish-orangeish.

@1986guitarplayer Try turning off, unplug the power cable, remove the battery for a few minutes and assemble again. It should then work. Dont ask why, i have no idea how but if you are concern about it, consult a tech. Peace

I have the hp g60 230 us and i have to say it is a wonderful laptop. It might not be the best for gaming but it is definatley fast with downloads and the internet. My laptop has 200 gb hard drive 4 gb ram and has intel celeron dual core processor. This laptop came with windows 7 and I have been realy impressed. I definatley recomend it.

Your going to like that touch pad BTW. The paint won't rub off like on some PCs. I use mine atleast 8 hours EVERYDAY and have had it almost a year and it isn't wearing off.
