I would restore it to factory settings. Hook it up to your computer and select the restore button underneath check for updates. If that doesn't work.....I would take it to an Apple store and have them take a look.

I have no idea. How old is it? After you did a complete restore meaning no longer jailbroken...if it still doesn't work I would call AppleCare if it's still in the year or go to an Apple store and see what they can do. Don't take it in there jailbroken though and update it to the latest software before you go. Don't pay to update if you don't want..

Try to restore it. Hold the Power key and the Menu key and get it into restore mode, let it do what it's gotta do and set it free again.

Hello, I have a problem with my iPod touch: every time I open an app, the sreen gives me a black color and than he returns to the menu. This happens too when I want to open the game Crash Bandicoot Nitro kart 3D and I bougt that game for 8 euros. Can somebody please help me? I'm realy scared for my iPod...

You need to delete the apps that are crashing and redownload them. You can delete them by holding the app icon and touching the X. Apple lets you redownload them. That should fix the problem.

Try clearing the cue before you update. Everytime you try to install or uninstall the touch adds that to the cue. As for the package download fail, that happens to me for a number of downloads, I just don't try downloading them again. (Just remember to always clear your cue and NEVER "Download All".) I gotta go!

First clear quare when you try to uninstall if that doesn't work try to instal boss tool and open boss tool us and open it up click free us disk space this is because there are two hard drives in the ipod touch one is for music video and podcast the other stuff and the other one is for contacts and stuff like that what boss tool does is it moves your apps to a bigger harddrive ond if even that doestn work than i suggest to open up itunes restore your ipod and jail break it again. hope this works

No, I don't think it is! It makes the iPod Touch that much more awesome with applications and games and such that aren't available for the ipod touch if you don't jailbreak it. All that may change though when the App Store is launched and you can buy applications directly from Apple.

thanks.. i just got a itouch and i cannot work the youtube. when i plug my itouch to itunes on my computer to register the itunes will say that the connection has time-out EVERYTIME!! HELP! is it the iTunes or my itouch?

yes re-jailbreak it but use iLiberty+ i used it and it just to easy, i cant use Ziphone for some reason. but try jo re-jailbreak it and use a other program then the ziphone

i didn't have to do any of that, i just restarted it, and the slide to power off was frozen, and then i hit cancel and did it again and turned it back on and then it worked

download boss tool and run that, you spring board can only download 300 mbs, i had the same problem, although my only problem now is I cant connect my ipod to my copmputer

go to the app you wanna update, hold the ome button for around seven secs, untill it goes to the home screen, go back in, and it should work :)
