  • yea yea..

  • you highlight the inner conner of your eyes in a wrong place.

  • @Gobigania There are no rights or wrongs in makeup, online guidelines. Rules are meant to be broken.

  • I appreciate your review on this, especially going so indepth with it. I will say I definitely wouldn't consider purchasing this just for the 18k gold plated ferrules. I would however buy the case for the "complete" collection - that is gorgeous.

  • check out gossmakeupartists' review of these brushes...

  • she is look a like smhw lady gaga O_o without clown makeup lady gaga

  • i enjoyed watching this video

even though i didnt believe a word....

  • did you paid for this kit with your own money?

  • Why not mention that the set of 4 shed hair? Badly. That is not extravagant.

  • @Dwightinho56 Because mine didn't shed at all.

  • Thank you for taking the time to do this review!!! I've wanted to see all of these brushes overall. I'm sure it took you a lot of time to do this (I mean it was a half hour long :p), so on behalf of most, we truly appreciate it!! :D

  • they shed and shed and shed.

  • these brushes are NOT luxurious. my friend got them and I tried them out - GARBAGE, especially for the ridiculous price. sheds and is NOT super soft nor high quality.

  • You have no credibility since you did not purchase the brushes!!! Pointless video!

  • @MeAndOnlyMoi That makes no sense. I'm not being paid to say anything... My credibility to my readers/viewers is much more important than getting a free brush kit. I even didn't recommend one out of the two.... how is that not credible?

  • i would like to point out that you really dont need half an hour to review these kits really you dont its really tiresome just watching for that amount of time i understand you want to put these in the best light possible but really there is nothing luxurious or extravagent about them at all yes i know they have a gold plated ferruel but so what? is that really going to change the hair quality? no in fact it doesnt they small horrible and shed like mad even the stippler brush its a joke

  • @erinachickita14 When there's 33 brushes to go through, I definitely do want to take enough time to at least talk about a little bit each. That's really the point of a review to me. It's not that I was "putting them in the best possible light", I even don't recommend one out of the two kits. I also say the only reason I would recommend the other one is the overall package & container. They brushes are still good, they are regular Sigma brushes.

  • @beautezineTV I get you but i still think it would be easy and less time consuming to just trial them and test the brushes and then give us you thoughts on them in a nutshell, highlighting the standout points in the brushes so its easier, thats my thoughts on it. Also if your saying theyre regular sigma brushes then isnt it a bit of a rip off for $500 if all there going to be is 'regular' and not 'extravagant' like it claims to be? I dont want to be a hater but its a bit of a shambles, sorry to you

  • @erinachickita14 I definitely see where you're coming from, I don't like listening to people ramble either. But for someone who would be considering paying $500 for it, I think they want a full and complete review. The extravagant part is because of the gold, which I don't think is worth the extra money. What I think is worth it, at least to me, is the fact that you get the variety of brushes all together in a really nice case.

  • The brushes are made in China????

  • @MrGarkareno I believe so!

  • i liked this video juz cuz i came from goss's video....

you guys should go check out the review from GossMakeupArtist...

honestly i dont really see the point of having gold plated makeup brush...

  • @boosoABC If you watch, I also said I don't really care for the gold plated ferrules. His review is great as well.

  • I wouldn't spend $510 on the Sigma Extravaganza kit. Wayne from Gossmakeupartist reviewed it in his "worst products of the year" video and OMG, if you have to buy Sigma, just buy their regular line or their synthetic one (the latter is great). Or if you're ready to spend that much money on brushes, treat yourself with ones handmade with EXCELLENT QUALITY OF HAIR like Hakuhodo or Suqqu. Please, don't waste your money for just fancy ferrules.

  • @chtitmog He did experience a lot of shedding, which I didn't in my brushes so thats probably why he wasn't very happy with his. I only recommend the kit based on the overall package, just just the value. Value is a very subjective thing, so that's why my reviews concentrate more on the product itself as a whole.

  • I have this kit and it is AMAZING!!!!!!! Worth every single dollar. Sigma NEVER disappoints. If you dont wear that much makeup or do freelance makeup, maybe you wont use all the brushes...but i use every one and am so happy Sigma came out with this collection. It was expensive but a great investment! :)

  • @phillysmisspriss Great to hear you're in love with it!

  • Goss makeup artist done a good review on these... I've heard these kits aren't great

  • i used to hate fan brush but i love this!! its so beautiful..

  • for that much money I would like brushes that don't shed and are actually good quality...

  • @xeniibarbie05 I didn't experience any shedding with mine! But I do know lots of people find that problem...

  • Sigma brushes shed big time and they have a nasty petroleum smell to them. Very disappointed :(

  • Uffff..... Just imagine if MAC came up with something like that, the entire kit would be well over a gazillion dollas! lol... This is ridiculous!!!

  • @Contessabelissima I too only trust Gossmakeupartist i love him!

  • Is it THE camera or does your eyeliner look bad? Like THE vid!

  • I watched gossmakeupartist too! I trust him more than anyone else on youtube. Just what difference does the gold ferrell make to my face!!rather spend my money on great products and fewer make up brushes that i actually use.

  • i really do think you did a great review, however, i added up how much it would cost if i bought all 29 brushes individually, and it came out to be $362. if you ask me, thats A LOT cheaper than $510 especially if you dont care for the 14k gold and everything. i mean i LOVE this set, but I would rather just buy them individually. I hope sigma comes out with all 29 brushes in their original design, with the case! LOVE the case.

  • @lillytriscuit I totally agree with you. Buying them individually is a lot cheaper, but to me its really the whole package that makes it worth it to me. Everyone has a different budget right? For me, the convenience of having them all in the case makes it so much more valuable then their individual price tags :)

  • @beautezineTV >.> Your budget being the fact they sent them, right?

  • This kit seems so unpractical. I'm really unhappy with this set. :/

  • Goss makeup reviewed this brush kit, i'd recommend checking it out. lolz.

  • @choochalah haha yeah, just finished watching that. im only here to see more of the case :P

  • @choochalah i jus saw it! omg! i was so surprised!

  • @choochalah Yeah, he basically hates the complete kit and the face kit. I was so turned off by his review that I'm reconsidering. But if the brushes are that bad, you can always return them.

    :(

  • @choochalah Wayne Goss always gives honest feedback. Love him!

  • Thanks! For all of us who already have all Sigma brushes, it would be great that they come out with just the case, like they did with the Make me up cup...could you tell them that? Thanks!!

  • I'm so getting the complete set I'm very impressed with sigma and what they have done, thanks for the honest review I really appreciate it =)

  • (I meant the Complete Set) But ya, if they came without the 18k gold ferrules, I'd be all in! :D

  • I want the essential kit! Just to have all the brushes in one place in an awesome case. I wonder if sigma will release the kit without the 18k gold ferrules.... Hmmm. Anyhoodle, awesome video! Thanks for all the hard work!

  • I just want the case lol

  • Nice collection but not worth the money even if it's 18k gold. I still love Sigma though.

  • You use many brushes for your cheeks. (Mostly Bronzer!)

  • Hey Jessica,

I have a suggestion about the L05 lip brush. I think you should tell Sigma to make the cap magnetized so it doesn't detach so easily.

    :)

  • Off-topic, but you look phenomenal in this video! (When don't you?) ♥

  • since your affiliated with them you should send them a suggestion to make a kit like this without the gold so its more affordable! i would DEF buy it then! or at least sell the case because ive been looking for something like this FOREVERRR

  • @evykins1 I already have my dear :) I always give them feedback!

  • @evykins1 (for the complete set)

  • I appreciate the honest review! The brushes do seem nice, but just not so sure they would be worth spending so much on....

  • i wish they would release a kit without the gold ferrules cause i would buy it in like two seconds lol.. i love sigma.. and would love to own all of these!

  • I don't think I'd buy that set I just think is one of those things you don't need, but If sigma came out with the same set without the gold I'd be on their site right know!! It is just too much I wouldn't even want to use the brushes 'cause they look so good, but that's it you said it... it's the same quality

  • Thank you for this review!

I'm not a fan of gold either and even tough I had the money to splurge on this I would not pay a premium price for a gold ferrule. I would rather pay it for better bristles...

The only fact I like is that there are all the brushes together in one place. I like the packaging for a normal kit, but I don't find it luxurious enough for the purpose of this kit...

  • @livemorenorth I get emails and private messages too. Plus it is an ongoing issue that I go through with every press sample. Trust me, i've gotten very desensitized to it, but that doesn't stop me from standing up for bloggers :)

  • this is a really detailed review and i really appreciate you making these videos :)

    subscribed!

  • Sigma needs to chill for a second LOL they look like MAC now, they have a collection every week!

  • Great in depth review. Honest and truthful. I agree with having them all in one place is great. Gold...meh...I don't really care about it being gold either. On another note. You Tube unsubbed me from you. I didn't notice cause I get the blog emails and watch everything from there. Love ya kid!

  • I think the packaging of the face kit could have been designed a little better. It seems that the fan brush would lay better next to the kabuki brush. At the moment it is being overlapped/squished by the powder brush. Would it be possible to rearrange the brushes the way I just said, or are the pockets sized to hold exact brushes? Thx.

  • holy lord, you look beautiful!! your skin really glows with your pink top, and i love your hair, just gorgeous :) and loved you're completely honest review, even though you got it for free i didnt feel you were just pandering to the company i felt you were being so truthful and genuine, thankyou :)

  • I really appreciate the fact that you mentioned one of your brushes was defective. But I'm still really interested in this brush kit though. I think Sigma should release a similar collection like this without the gold ferrules. I would literally be on their website ordering it without reflection.

    :)

  • @lilhiphopgirl101 I absolutely agree and even said so on my full review blog post several times!

  • you got these for FREE RIGHT FROM SIGMA!!! off course you would recommend them for FREE I WOULD DO SAY THE SAME THING

  • @ivanan222 Yes, I did get them for free. Not sure if you actually watched the video though- because I was completely honest and only would recommend one out of the two brush kits- the one with the better value. It's a LOT of money, but you're getting a lot of brushes.... at $17/piece, that value sits okay with me and many other people. I mentioned ALL the cons as well to help people make an informed decision- both kits are still in some people's budget.

  • @ivanan222 Many people are so concerned with whether a product was provided or not. Jessica always gives an honest review! With the frame of mind that if something was provided, a blogger is lying, then that would mean even Temptalia lies, but we all know she doesn't rave about every single product featured on her site, and many of those products were provided for consideration. Bloggers want people to value their opinion, not question it, so most don't lie because something was provided.

  • Thanks for the review, I really wanted to know more about these.

  • Was totally thinking the same thing about Hakuhodo.

  • Thanks for this video! I was very curious about these brushes, but they are just way too overpriced. For this price I can get Hakuhodo brushes (which are a lot better quality!). Nice for someone who has the money to blow...but not for your average gal!
