Gordie was one tough cookie when I played with him.

I still have my white Cap pants that we all wore during the first season of action. They got rid of them because the trainers were complaining that they were constantly dirty from all the boards scuffing them up.

Granted we were not good for a few years but the team got better as we got better players

@fdnyemt5330 me too...wish theyd bring them back wel maybe not the yellow pants they wore one year...i think the best combination of unis would these and then for the road to have basically the same design but in white with purple and gold trim and that classic crown crest...

Old skool Caps. Hardly ever won, but they could fight anyone.

@txkid1 caps were horrible in the early years but things turned around in the mid 80s with players like gartner, murphy,stevens,hatcher,langway­carpenter,Gustafsson,Duschene,­Christian...and better goaltending with Peters, Riggin and Mason...kind of liked that team back then...like those uniforms too
