Since communism and capitialism and opening up was established. China managed to lift a majority of population out of poverty. China is not like India with worlds largest population of poverty and nothing much was done. Chinese people are very affluent nowadays. China is 2nd to the USA with the most number of entrepreneurs overall.

No it was the British and the CIA association with Dalai Lama. They were not slavery under Chinese rule, the Chinese invaded Tibet to save Tibet, also to maintain the safety assets for the PRC, resource, free slavery, and to reclaim their territory back. In Tibet, Chinese law was enforced to abide in their autonomous region. Tibet was never a recognised country in the first place.

China was the first country to recognise Tibet.
The Sino-Tibetan Treaty 821/823, a treaty of friendship written in both Tibetan and Chinese set out the terms of peace and borders between Tibet and China arrived at in 821.

Many countries learnt lessons from WW2 because a second world war was never meant to happen. So I think the modern area starts after WW2.
