Doesn't take into account karmic law, yet correctly identifies the issue as tragic mis-conceptions re' loaded religious terminology, "God", "sin" etc.
Bottom line as I understand; each individual creates his own destiny through actions whose unconscious mental imprints invite opposite balance or reactions through future circumstances, that aren't accidental as the vid assumes
But it's good to expose distorted views, helping clear the field in which fresh insights on difficult issues can grow.
satan lives in my balls and im gonna spray him all over your face and create life. splendor and design. i am not a christian but an atheist and i like your videos too. i just wanted to offend someone. but this one was pretty gross.
@rollofnickles Thanks rollofnickles, It is a video that many people cannot stomach, but I just got tired of listening to preachers like the one at the end of the video. I would love to see that guy say those things in an auditorium full of individuals like you saw in the vid! It will never happen!! It doesn't fit their lies or agenda.
I guess you could not read that big red notice at the very beginning of the video. There are reasons why people like AronRa, TheLivingDinosaur, DiscoveringReligion, Darkmatter2525, Phillhellenes, DPRJones, etc,. subscribe to my channel. They actual WATCH videos before commenting! Maybe you should have hung in there to the 3 minute mark.
@FishHeadSalad After seeing the entire video, I give you a thumbs up, and my apologies for being a dick. But in my defense, without knowing you or your channel, it was pretty easy to mistake the video for some creationist bologna ;)
@MorrisonEnterprise Thanks for the thumb up. To be honest with you, that seems to be the biggest problem with this vid, I have found. Creatards like it up until the 3 minute mark, then thumb down. Rationalists think it is a creatard vid and thumb it down before the 3 minute mark! I guess I should have made the intro (creatard part) about a minute long. Oh well. It is my most hated video! ; ). Thank you for rewatching. Take care, -Salad
@VoxNeruda I am going to take a stab here...once again. I am going to guess that you ignored the very visible white writing on red back ground at the beginning of the vid. Please read what it says, rewatch the vid accordingly, and then recomment! Thanks ; ) -Salad
@VoxNeruda Not sure who "we" are, but if you and your pals are truly blind, then I can understand how you would not understand this vid. The vid is about mutations and genetic anomalies. That is the point of the vid.
@VoxNeruda Thank you for sparing me the boring details. Sounds like I have a troll on my hands here, therefore, we are done. Have fun with your mutation controls and enjoy your citrus fruit. Goddamned as it may be, according to you, or should I say "you's guys"
Why (oh why) is it SO simple and clear and obvious to look around this earth--this universe--and see the hand of ... no one. This earth and this universe look EXACTLY as we would expect them to look if NO God or gods had or have a hand in it.
If I am so special and god made me and sculpted me then why the hundreds of millions of other sperm? Were they egging me on in there or what?
My dad pulls this type of argument. Anything good I achieve is because of his encouragement and influence. Anything bad I did was my responsibility. I asked him where exactly does his influence begin and end? He couldn't answer.
I put like although it's hard to say I like something with grotesque images in it.
Anyway, I just thought your videos should have a warning about that as well. It may be a bit shocking to some and that may get it flagged for community standards eventually.
Otherwise, excellent vid; this aspect is very rarely addressed. You have hit upon something that may be very hard to deal with for believers. Reaching back to my christian days, I can only imagine myself having to ignore this and move on.
@AndreisEntaro NOPE! No warnings on my vids. I will not do that. I did not create these images or these individuals. You are right, I may get flagged, but on what basis? There is no cruelty shown. No cruelty done to any human or animal by any human. The cruelty is done by....well (?). Thank you for the comment Anreis. ; ) I think the preacher at the end says it all! I always love input! So thank you! Take care -Salad
I believe I know of what you speak. We, human beings, have the ability to end all the suffering. If we were of one mind. If we did not blame another entity, and were of one mind, we could end world hunger and cure for every disease. But not when we are erroneously blaming a creator god. The lesson I have learned here is that we had better get started, we've wasted enough time, if we are to save ourselves. Some say, "See what God has done." I say, "Look what we have yet to do."
kinda realized you're going to take it down the road of deformed babies ....
was hoping you'd show us some interesting and pretty (naturally accouring) "paintings" and explaine how these formed naturally, and without a painter; and if these naturaly accouring things of bueaty and complexaty don't have a painter, than maybe other things of complexaty and bueaty, don't have a painter too.
things I'm talking about: the mandelbrot set, galaxies, the grand canyon, you get my point, right?
You need not cling to nonsense and long-debunked arguments for creationism. I invite you to instead experience a different sort of wonder. God did not create you directly, as a painter paints a painting. You came about as a result of the natural laws he set down. I do not understand why more christians take this view. After all, what is more impressive: building a simple factory robot, or programming Commander Data?
@evilotakuneko I'm going to assume that U paid NO attention to the annotation at the beginning of the vid. There is a reason why people like AronRa, BrettpPalmer, DPRJones, sub to my channel. I guess U missed it because you did not want to read white letters on a red background at the beginning of a vid. If you are a creatard, have at it....but at least watch vids that you comment on, before commenting.
@FishHeadSalad Okay. You got me. I quit after the first half of the video was entirely creationist crap. And then the deformed babies came along, and I was eating dinner. >.>
@evilotakuneko Thanks for watching the whole thing. You wrote.... "Eating dinner" ;) I hope I did not make you vomit! LOL! Take care and thanx for watching and commenting. -Salad
Oh, so whenever there's something you like...it's god...but whenever there's something you don't like...like birth defects...it isn't god.
HConstantine has it spot on. Yes, you are lying to yourself to defend the image of god in your mind, by making excuses to justify your pre-existing indoctrinated belief that your god is good no matter what.
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart"
Funny thing is that religous people sometimes regard these mutated children to be punishments, furthering the idea that god would send and punish his son to absolve the world and other peoples children to punish them. These children thereby become nonentities, transform into purposes, they are punishment. And to be honest if you can believe in a god that kills his own son to absolve some dispute over an apple why wouldn't he disfigure your son for your crimes?
I think this video was rather beautiful. I feel the beauty, the clarity, that is evolution, and that I will never be troubled by this dilemma at all.
@38tyranny2 Hi 38, All I have are cats...6....my wife's doing...(and fish...my doing)...long story! As to "Comments"...to me...comments are always welcome as long as they are legit! They do not have to agree with me or my vids. I like it when people "think", even if that means that the thought process does not agree with my own! I hate ignorance...I love information.
Very impressive video. Shocking, of course, which was (i think) your intention.
But I'm afraid that the logic conclusion you (and every other sane person) came to in this video, will not be the conclusion religious people will come to. They will twist and turn and make the image they have of the world again fit their own fantasies.
@Shangori Hi Shangori, thanx 4 the compliment on the vid. I was not really going for "shock value", tho it does fit into the "reality" that I was trying to express in the vid. U will never see Ray or that preacher at the end of the vid giving that sermon to a room full of children with birth defects. Their world view and belief systems seem to omit creations that are not beautiful. God created everything! & If they believe that, they need to understand the meaning of the word everything!
Could it be Gods plan to deform the child? Could be. Or could it be that the mother sinned while pregnent (drinking, etc) and the child is taking the punishment. Never in the Bible does it say that the sin you commint only affects you. But I can tell you this. God still loves that child.
@FNDabest Why should an innocent, sin-less baby be punished for something s/he did not do? Why should even a sinner be punished for something s/he did not do? Especially like that. That doesn't sound like love to me.
@FNDabest I never asked him to, God did. God sent him for that specific purpose. Which proves my point: God doesn't love us, he LIKES to see us suffer. Jesus was the son of God, right? I doubt his short time spent "dying painfully" affected him at all. MILLIONS (probably more) of non-divine HUMANS throughout history have died painfully. Some spent their entire lives suffering. Some even went on to endure an ETERNITY of suffering in Hell. Jesus' short time on the cross is nothing to brag about.
Please, tell me, how does God like to see us suffer? He sent Jesus so He would give us a chance to ESCAPE the suffering. Does your short time means several hours?
Jesus was beaten, was lashed 30 times (If I remeber) with a wip made of sharp metal, bone, rock, and glass. Most people died during this. Flesh in ribbons, the forced a crown of thorns on Him, beat Him, spat on Him, and tore out His beard. Made Him carry His own cross miles to the spot.
@LuvStruckMess Nailed spikes in His wrists and feet. And lifted him up. He would be unable to breathe unless He supported Himself up by the nail in His foot. And yet, said, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." And did all of this because He loved us, and wanted us in heaven. Yet you act like this to Him.
He was on there for a few hours. Not a 'short time.' And He did nothing to deserve it.
@FNDabest There are people who re-create this (every year I think). Again, nothing special. These babies also do not deserve spending their ENTIRE LIVES deformed and in pain, physically and emotionally. And these people don't have a guaranteed spot in Heaven, like Jesus did. I'm not acting like anything towards Jesus. I think he had some great ideas, I'm talking about God. The one who subjects all these people he supposedly loves, including Jesus, to such torture.
@LuvStruckMess Well, like I said, it could be from the parents sins (i.e. drinking, smoking, drugs, etc.) And God could have a plan. Like that girl who was blind and deaf, causing her to be a mute. She did great things.
@FNDabest "Well, like I said, it could be from the parents sins "
So you're admitting now that your god punishes children for the sins of their parents? What a dick.
The Cylons had a plan. The Biblical god is notorious for changing his mind and incompetently mucking about with his creation, creating talking snakes and rebelling angels and mass-murdering floods and destroying the tower of Babel which he did not foresee in any way.He even lets Satan talk him into killing Job's firstborn sons
story of Job was always a good one. God causing misfortune to Job in the form of killing all his children to test Job's faith to shame Satan. Just one of the more funny stories out there.
@atmdusty It's even more of a testament to god's character that he acknowledges Job's innocence in all of this (Job 2:3 "he is blameless and upright") and it's revealed that although god is supposedly omnipotent and omniscient, Satan still manages to trick him (Job 2:3 "you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.") and he torments and kills anyway. When Job's friends make excuses for this behaviour god punishes them and basically says: "I did it because I can." Dick.
@FNDabest I doubt that in all these cases the deformities are caused by parents drinking or doing drugs. You act like sin is an STD, passed down from parent to child. And if that were the case you would be able to prove it physically exists, but no, it's another intangible, non-physical, imaginary creature, like your god that can't be proven or disproven. You act like it's the sinning itself that affected the unborn child, the act, and not the substance. Which is stupid.
Indeed. Which must mean the Holocaust, the Aids epidemic, the random drive-by shootings, strikes of lightning, slavery, mysogyny, every kidnapping, suicide, child abuse case and rape were all part of your god's plan. His very own puppet show.
Because where's free will in all this? That deaf and blind girl is only impressive if she did those things without divine help or plan. Which god created flesh-eating bacteria and crafty talking snakes?
@FNDabest Where in the Bible does it say you can't drink and drive? Just kidding. That's a cheap shot.
It could be sin. It could be invisible leprechauns putting a hex on pregnant women who defile their invisible hiding places. Or aliens experimenting on unborn children in the womb and erasing any encounter with them from our memories so we won't even suspect a thing.
Any of that is equally plausible when you've got no evidence. Except when everything points to a naturalistic explanation.
@FNDabest Suppose Obama revealed himself as a Muslim and became dictator, and decreed that the children and grandchildren of all republican congressmen would be treated by doctors in the womb to make them deformed as punishment for their opposition to him--that is what you think god is like, and you want to worship him?
Ah. the story of the crucifixion. Jesus wasn't the only person to be crucified and there are other ways to die that where used that are just as bad if not worse. Also really presumptuous of Jesus and God to think every human in the world knew of him or even that he was being crucified.
Not to mention, God blames us for the deeds of our ancestors when that has nothing to do with the person since God creates every living thing. It is like blaming your clock for mistakes made by a sundial.
@FNDabest None of that severe genetic damage was caused by drinking, as you very well know. If you have to lie to yourself to defend your image of god...well, does that tell you?
Captain Comfort sounds a lot smarter when you just have him repeat the same few words over and over again... also, that last guy's assertion that if god created you he cares for you is a massive non sequitur.
And thank you for reminding me how lucky I am not to have any major defects... and for the nightmares.
Hey Fishheadsalad, I love your videos thus far. However, consider this argument: The reason 'God' made the mutations, is to make the proud 'humble' and to give the good a reason to give. The poor man was made poor to give the rich man the opportunity to show kindness. If the rich man refuses, then he is held accountable. I await your response.
@LilaDeGr8 Hi Lila, I do want to respond to your comment, but i will do so via PM, Plus I need to have enough time to sit down and do so. Hopefully, this week end. Take care -Salad
@LilaDeGr8 So your argument is that an all powerful god inflicts untold misery and pain on countless innocent people so that others might learn something from it? Correct me if that reading of your post is incorrect.
If that is your argument then I wonder why you would praise such a being.
@Huttate1 Hi H..in defense of LilaDeGr8...She and I have exchanged PM's on this subject. I just wanted to let you know that she is on the same team. She, like most people who watch my stuff...questions scripture. maybe she should have left that comment in my PM box....I just wanted U to know that she is in no way ...one of those weirdo's out there. If U want...I can PM the Xchange I had with her. And, of course, if it is "OK" with her. There is a reason why they call it "private" message.
@FishHeadSalad Thanks for that. I was not trying to attack her but rather question her logic. Have only just found your channel and am playing catch up.
I'm running out of creationist channels to watch. They seem to prefer to block rather than discuss logic or reason.
"What a piece of work is a man! how noble in reason! how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel!"
I watched the whole video(twice). There is a third option/argument/scenario other than the two you offered; and that is that god is imaginary and those picture you displayed are merely unfortunate mutations.
@BionicDance tisk tisk....you did not watch the vid! There is a reason why aronra and dprjones and thelivingdinosaur and discoveringreligion, etc......sub to my channel...yes, my channel is small...but watch the vid in it's entirety and see how it ties into what you are saying...then ....well...I can take it! ; )
@BionicDance Hi Keight, PM me if you do end up watching the vid in it's entirety. I think...as to your question...I pretty much say "who" and what I think god is! ; ) ...Well after the 3 minute mark anyway!
@waffles497 Did you remove your comment? It looks that way! PM me back and let me know if you do not want anyone to read what you wrote. And that you got the PM I sent you.
Well...in a nut shell...Why yes he did! remove it...and....here it is :
Your ignorance of evolution amazes me. Your complexity of the human eye argument has been debunked many times. Your logic is the same as ray comfort and neither of you make any sense. The painting must have a painter is the same as the watch argument, which has also been proven by many to not be a valid argument.
@FishHeadSalad And..of course...once again...he wrote this after ignoring what I wrote at the beginning of the vid...wanting to unwittingly just talk out of ignorance. Like I say over and over...I do not mind any replies...all I ask is that they are made after watching.
@gphhawkins I never understand why people leave comments without watching the vid first. There are reasons why aronra, dprjones, thelivingdinosaur, DiscoveringReligion, etc, sub to my channel. The reasons are simple. They actually watch the vids!
Maybe you should heed your own advice that you give on your channel page. Or maybe you agree with Ray Comfort and the preacher at the end of this video. Take care, I hope you actually view this vid with your mind, not your bias.
@gphhawkins Thank you for responding. Did you get a chance to watch the vid in its entirety? Even if you hated it..."after" you watched it....I am OK with that and I do encourage comments....good or bad...on my stuff....all I ask is that the comment be made "after" viewing. I can honestly tell you that I do want you to examine the vid and evaluate what you see. Take care...Thanks again for responding. -Salad
I don't know if this is satire or not but the 3rd grade level of arguements in the first two mins were not worth my time to stick around and find out.
@kx32ta1 gosh and G-willickers... how you chose not to read what was made so clear to all as to making comments....you should have "stuck" around..at least to the 3 minute mark!
@FishHeadSalad I was going to stick around to the end to see if it was satire because I thought it might have been when I saw the disclaimer in there but it was to rough to wait ten minutes. So...1. if it is satire, then disregard. 2. If this was an honest attempt, then my original comment stands. Those were the points of my comment.
@kx32ta1 Hi kx, This video is not satire. It is just an ugly truth. I hope you get a chance to watch it in its entirety and listen to what the preacher at the end says. I think he unwittingly drives the point home. Take care and thank you for commenting. -Salad
Satan only brings death? What an odd thing to say, can somebody tell me how many people Satan has killed. I know of ten, and they were killed on the instruction of Yahweh. I have no idea how many people Yahweh has killed, but i know that it exceeds 2,000,000 by a large amount, so I have to ask a question, what was the person who wrote John on? And if he was so wrong about this how can we trust anything else he wrote?
Man that cyclops baby is killing me. This sounds terrible, but I can't look at deformed people like that, it just grosses me out.
Good video other than that though....and it still amazes me that someone can still be a Christian, even though they know god created them just so they can worship him. Doesn't sound like a very good person to me.
Thanks for the vid response; I actually deal with this "painting" argument in Part 4 and 5 of my "Top Ten (Failed) Proofs for God's Existence" series.
God intentionally designs people maimed and disfigured, so says the Bible. This is God's response to Abraham when he says he can't do something due to his slow speech.
Exodus 4:11 - "And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the bilnd? have not I the Lord?"
@Enochsfury Actually, U are referring to Moses, but other than that, U are spot on. The bible is clear on these issues either by design or implication several times. God also lays claim to creating monetary wealth or poverty. Next time U watch 1 of those starving children commercials on TV, remember who is making those children starve via poverty. The god of the bible also inflicts disease and/or death on individuals and populations for his pleasure, glory, and plan. Praise the Lord! : )
@dettamanti yes. He's creating a deliberate dilemma for the Christians by trying to illuminate their contradictory worldview in a way they've not seen (apparently) before. They cry that only god can create and so, he's holding them to that. If god is the painter of all, he is not only the painter of good but the painter of bad. It is a necessary conclusion.
Absolutely dead on, man. I'm faving and possibly when I get time do some shoutouts to my 2000 subs. i simply loved the way you wrote this so that you nailed down the belief first and then held them to it. And the echoing mantras were just perfect. I am assuming you are an ex-Christian. Ex-Christians usually have the best grasp of the problems inherent in the disparate writings known as the Bible.
A painting implies a painter BECAUSE of it's very attributes--it's even implied by it's name. It's very definition is contingent on the understanding that it's a product of humans.
But existence of things (inanimate or living) implies no such causality. For even the painting is ultimately not truly created. It is simply US rearranging things that already exist. Existence doesn't depend on intelligence, Intelligence depends on existence.
God knows about these people so your not saying anything new here. "Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. " Luke 14:21 These people will feast with the King of glory, but what's going to happen to you? I wouldn't trade places with you for a thousand worlds, and if I had to choose, I rather be one of the poor souls in this video. You are despicable. You who make evil videos are the real freaks of creation
@biblethink God not only knows about these people, he disfigured them. As to Luke 14:21, the verse should have ended...the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind...that I created. What will happen to me, you ask? I guess the same thing that will happen to every other person who does not believe in your version of your God. Even jewish children who love god are going to burn. And the video is not evil, it is biblical. And it contains no lies.
All those people that you USED in this video who you USED to make your case, may be in much better shape and condition than YOU on JUDGMENT DAY.
Did you interview one of these people? I didn't think so.
Perhaps on Judgment day while they are in their new bodies they will testify against you that you are a liar.
The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 You do remember Samuel don't you?
@biblethink I am glad you enjoyed the video! ; ) But I think you missed the point. It has nothing to do with judgment day or the afterlife. I do not know why you insist on calling me a liar. There are no lies in the video.
As to Sammy 16:7...that has to do with judging a book by it's cover, not god creating deformed living things. I think the preacher at the end of the video summed it up quite nicely. His words, not mine. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas day!
@biblethink I have not heard back from you! Do you just want to leave ugly/ambiguous comments and then choose to not back them up? Please leave me scripture as to your opposition....your stance... as to what I said in this vid! Did not God create everything? Show me where he did not!
@biblethink Gee bt, you might as well have just answered "yes" to the first question, and "no comment" to the second. As to your new random verse...it is odd how god/jesus can tell someone to lie, remove ones free will, burn infants to death, drown babies, torture animals, endorse incest and self mutilation, etc, and it is not considered "wicked" because of who is doing it. It is usually given a more user friendly name...like wrath or tough love or an "uncontentious spirit".
@Timslist In the video, I never said your savior doesn't live. I was just pointing out some of the living things and individuals he chose and still chooses to create for his pleasure, and his glory. : )
aww dude... you probably only read king james bible, the worst translation possible. if you read some better, newer translations, you will notice that satan is not a name. and there is no lucifer.
@unkaodya aww dude... I never mentioned lucifer. And sure, satan can be used as a title and not a name. Just as God is not God's name. The name/title "Satan" is used in the bible. Job 1:6 and Revelation 20:2 (2010 updated NIV) for example. Hope the 2010 NIV is a better, newer translation...dude. Take care and thanks for watching.
Sometimes, if you're going to get across a point you need to pick up a fishbat and beat the crap out of it. I think this was very well done. Not kind, but as you point out, reality is often unkind.
" I believe the point remains valid though never directly stated."
Huh, are you saying that I restated your point? I thought that your point was that we can draw one of "two conclusions" that were directly stated in the video.
*blinks* THAT was a surprise. Definitely an effective wake-up call, especially since it ensures very effectively it is not simply preaching to the choir, judging by the comments.
"Anyone born "whole" will view this video totally differently than someone who was not."
Of course, and for many reasons. Sometimes the fear of those misfortunes is enough for people to seek some sort of "divine immunity" from them. It was not a deformity, but an event, which opened my eyes and humbled me further. I would not be immune from pain and sorrow even if I were perfectly righteous.
@zweidlen7 Thank you for agreeing with me. And like you...and me...no one is immune to pain and/or sorrow. But sometimes the realities of those things are darker to some more than others soley based on the bodies that they are forced to live in and were born with...created with...if you will. I do not want to veer too far away from the point of the video. I believe the point remains valid though never directly stated.
And...The world is still beautiful to me, all of it. I say that in extreme humility because I know I still pray for good health. I pray for the safety of the babies growing within me and the health of my other children. And I have a responsibility to see the spiritual beyond the facade, pleasant or unpleasant. The worst in the world is not the deformed in body...the worst and least attractive and most tragic is that which rejects hope and love.
I believe there is purpose in the possibility of imperfection. I have said before that, in order to have the ability to have joy in the world, the world must also have conditions allowing the possibility of pain. There has to be cause and effect, even down to the last atom.
@zweidlen7 I find no purpose in human imperfection...meaning..."physical deformities". I find no design in it either.
I only find sorrow in the fragile imperfect genetics and the things that whirl around on an atomic level (when you break it down) that causes such things. It is easy to talk about pain when it is someone elses. Anyone born "whole" will view this video totally differently than someone who was not. Thank you for watching and your comments.
Watched all of it. Random thoughts which come to mind:
-It's really sad that over time people have mistreated or killed the deformed and oftentimes incorrectly blamed the deformity on the person or his parents on something.
"Numbers 31:17-18 (King James Version) 17Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."
flawless like the extreme drug resistant tuberculosis, flawless like the poop-eating rabbit, flawless like polio and variola. bow to such a flawless god and thou shall be completely devoided of any bit of dignity you might have in your being
@smsavage32 Tell me about it! Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Did you see all the thumbs down on this one? I knew it would get a knee jerk reaction before I even released it. I also knew I would get some huffy comments as well. Doesn't bother me. Kind of makes me chuckle! Truth hurts sometimes I guess, especially when it is ugly. Take care Savage and thanks for stopping by. Happy New Year!
The logical fallacy of course lies in infinite regression.
Only nothing can come from nothing, therefore everything had to have been created. God is something, if he 'created himself' then he didn't exist in order to 'create himself' therefor he couldn't have created himself, unless matter -can- in fact come into being from nothing, a la abiogenesis, re validating that option. The infinite regression comes from the creator of the creator and so forth. Also, the sudden noise is insta-heart atk.
@Sharagran Sorry about that Shar. Here is a heads up..Episode 8 will be just as graphic. Episode 5 will be light hearted...teetering on "fluff" with no graphic images.

I guess you could not read that big red notice at the very beginning of the video.

Some say, "See what God has done." I say, "Look what we have yet to do."

kinda realized you're going to take it down the road of deformed babies ....
was hoping you'd show us some interesting and pretty (naturally accouring) "paintings" and explaine how these formed naturally, and without a painter; and if these naturaly accouring things of bueaty and complexaty don't have a painter, than maybe other things of complexaty and bueaty, don't have a painter too.
things I'm talking about: the mandelbrot set, galaxies, the grand canyon, you get my point, right?
eyallev 6 months ago
You need not cling to nonsense and long-debunked arguments for creationism. I invite you to instead experience a different sort of wonder. God did not create you directly, as a painter paints a painting. You came about as a result of the natural laws he set down. I do not understand why more christians take this view. After all, what is more impressive: building a simple factory robot, or programming Commander Data?

Oh, so whenever there's something you like...it's god...but whenever there's something you don't like...like birth defects...it isn't god.
HConstantine has it spot on. Yes, you are lying to yourself to defend the image of god in your mind, by making excuses to justify your pre-existing indoctrinated belief that your god is good no matter what.

Could it be Gods plan to deform the child? Could be. Or could it be that the mother sinned while pregnent (drinking, etc) and the child is taking the punishment. Never in the Bible does it say that the sin you commint only affects you. But I can tell you this. God still loves that child.
Thanks for the nightmares
I do like your 'one' whispered like that.
FNDabest 11 months ago
@FNDabest So God punishes an innocent child for his/her mother's sins? Boy, that IS love.
LuvStruckMess 10 months ago
@LuvStruckMess
It just shows that sin affects others.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest Why should an innocent, sin-less baby be punished for something s/he did not do? Why should even a sinner be punished for something s/he did not do? Especially like that. That doesn't sound like love to me.
LuvStruckMess 10 months ago
@LuvStruckMess
Why should Jesus, the one who never sinned, preached love, have to die painfully on the cross just so you can reject and curse Him?
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest Are you being flippant or do you want a true response to that comment?
FishHeadSalad 10 months ago
@FishHeadSalad The first time I heard that word...
Reply anyway you want. I was making a point.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest I never asked him to, God did. God sent him for that specific purpose. Which proves my point: God doesn't love us, he LIKES to see us suffer. Jesus was the son of God, right? I doubt his short time spent "dying painfully" affected him at all. MILLIONS (probably more) of non-divine HUMANS throughout history have died painfully. Some spent their entire lives suffering. Some even went on to endure an ETERNITY of suffering in Hell. Jesus' short time on the cross is nothing to brag about.
LuvStruckMess 10 months ago
@LuvStruckMess Thats selfish.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest then why did god cause the holocaust? Why does cripple all those babies? What is it about the argument you don't understand?
HConstantine 8 months ago
@LuvStruckMess Nailed spikes in His wrists and feet. And lifted him up. He would be unable to breathe unless He supported Himself up by the nail in His foot. And yet, said, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." And did all of this because He loved us, and wanted us in heaven. Yet you act like this to Him.
He was on there for a few hours. Not a 'short time.' And He did nothing to deserve it.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest There are people who re-create this (every year I think). Again, nothing special. These babies also do not deserve spending their ENTIRE LIVES deformed and in pain, physically and emotionally. And these people don't have a guaranteed spot in Heaven, like Jesus did. I'm not acting like anything towards Jesus. I think he had some great ideas, I'm talking about God. The one who subjects all these people he supposedly loves, including Jesus, to such torture.
LuvStruckMess 10 months ago
@LuvStruckMess Well, like I said, it could be from the parents sins (i.e. drinking, smoking, drugs, etc.) And God could have a plan. Like that girl who was blind and deaf, causing her to be a mute. She did great things.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest "Well, like I said, it could be from the parents sins "
So you're admitting now that your god punishes children for the sins of their parents? What a dick.
The Cylons had a plan. The Biblical god is notorious for changing his mind and incompetently mucking about with his creation, creating talking snakes and rebelling angels and mass-murdering floods and destroying the tower of Babel which he did not foresee in any way.He even lets Satan talk him into killing Job's firstborn sons
viridismonasteriense 10 months ago
@viridismonasteriense
story of Job was always a good one. God causing misfortune to Job in the form of killing all his children to test Job's faith to shame Satan. Just one of the more funny stories out there.
atmdusty 10 months ago
@atmdusty It's even more of a testament to god's character that he acknowledges Job's innocence in all of this (Job 2:3 "he is blameless and upright") and it's revealed that although god is supposedly omnipotent and omniscient, Satan still manages to trick him (Job 2:3 "you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.") and he torments and kills anyway. When Job's friends make excuses for this behaviour god punishes them and basically says: "I did it because I can." Dick.
viridismonasteriense 10 months ago
@FNDabest I doubt that in all these cases the deformities are caused by parents drinking or doing drugs. You act like sin is an STD, passed down from parent to child. And if that were the case you would be able to prove it physically exists, but no, it's another intangible, non-physical, imaginary creature, like your god that can't be proven or disproven. You act like it's the sinning itself that affected the unborn child, the act, and not the substance. Which is stupid.
viridismonasteriense 10 months ago
@FNDabest "And God could have a plan. "
Which god created flesh-eating bacteria and crafty talking snakes?
viridismonasteriense 10 months ago
@viridismonasteriense *COULD* I didn;t say He did. It could be because of anothers sin. Like drink driving.
FNDabest 10 months ago
@FNDabest Where in the Bible does it say you can't drink and drive? Just kidding. That's a cheap shot.
It could be sin. It could be invisible leprechauns putting a hex on pregnant women who defile their invisible hiding places. Or aliens experimenting on unborn children in the womb and erasing any encounter with them from our memories so we won't even suspect a thing.
Any of that is equally plausible when you've got no evidence. Except when everything points to a naturalistic explanation.
viridismonasteriense 10 months ago
@FNDabest Suppose Obama revealed himself as a Muslim and became dictator, and decreed that the children and grandchildren of all republican congressmen would be treated by doctors in the womb to make them deformed as punishment for their opposition to him--that is what you think god is like, and you want to worship him?
HConstantine 8 months ago
Ah. the story of the crucifixion.
U funny
atmdusty 10 months ago
@FNDabest So Jesus killed between thousands and millions of babies in the flood, but he never sinned? Is that what you're claiming?
HConstantine 8 months ago
@FNDabest None of that severe genetic damage was caused by drinking, as you very well know. If you have to lie to yourself to defend your image of god...well, does that tell you?
HConstantine 8 months ago
@HConstantine I was talking about birth defects in general.
Could also just be the mothers body.
And I don't lie to myself.
FNDabest 8 months ago
Captain Comfort sounds a lot smarter when you just have him repeat the same few words over and over again... also, that last guy's assertion that if god created you he cares for you is a massive non sequitur.
And thank you for reminding me how lucky I am not to have any major defects... and for the nightmares.
athywren 11 months ago
Hey Fishheadsalad, I love your videos thus far. However, consider this argument: The reason 'God' made the mutations, is to make the proud 'humble' and to give the good a reason to give. The poor man was made poor to give the rich man the opportunity to show kindness. If the rich man refuses, then he is held accountable. I await your response.

God intentionally designs people maimed and disfigured, so says the Bible. This is God's response to Abraham when he says he can't do something due to his slow speech.
Exodus 4:11 - "And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the bilnd? have not I the Lord?"
Enochsfury 1 year ago
@Enochsfury Actually, U are referring to Moses, but other than that, U are spot on. The bible is clear on these issues either by design or implication several times. God also lays claim to creating monetary wealth or poverty. Next time U watch 1 of those starving children commercials on TV, remember who is making those children starve via poverty. The god of the bible also inflicts disease and/or death on individuals and populations for his pleasure, glory, and plan. Praise the Lord! : )
FishHeadSalad 1 year ago
@FishHeadSalad Yeah, I meant to say Moses. YT really needs an edit option for comments.
Enochsfury 1 year ago
@dettamanti yes. He's creating a deliberate dilemma for the Christians by trying to illuminate their contradictory worldview in a way they've not seen (apparently) before. They cry that only god can create and so, he's holding them to that. If god is the painter of all, he is not only the painter of good but the painter of bad. It is a necessary conclusion.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
Absolutely dead on, man. I'm faving and possibly when I get time do some shoutouts to my 2000 subs. i simply loved the way you wrote this so that you nailed down the belief first and then held them to it. And the echoing mantras were just perfect. I am assuming you are an ex-Christian. Ex-Christians usually have the best grasp of the problems inherent in the disparate writings known as the Bible.
TruthSurge 1 year ago

You who make evil videos are the real freaks of creation
biblethink 1 year ago 2
@biblethink God not only knows about these people, he disfigured them. As to Luke 14:21, the verse should have ended...the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind...that I created. What will happen to me, you ask? I guess the same thing that will happen to every other person who does not believe in your version of your God. Even jewish children who love god are going to burn. And the video is not evil, it is biblical. And it contains no lies.

@FishHeadSalad "Please leave me scripture..."
There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

@FishHeadSalad should have read ....tell someone to "steal". Not tell someone to "lie". Mea Culpa.

5:20 My Savior Lives

@Timslist In the video, I never said your savior doesn't live. I was just pointing out some of the living things and individuals he chose and still chooses to create for his pleasure, and his glory. : )

aww dude... you probably only read king james bible, the worst translation possible. if you read some better, newer translations, you will notice that satan is not a name. and there is no lucifer.
unkaodya 1 year ago
@unkaodya aww dude... I never mentioned lucifer. And sure, satan can be used as a title and not a name. Just as God is not God's name. The name/title "Satan" is used in the bible. Job 1:6 and Revelation 20:2 (2010 updated NIV) for example. Hope the 2010 NIV is a better, newer translation...dude. Take care and thanks for watching.
FishHeadSalad 1 year ago
@FishHeadSalad i know you did not mention lucifer but it`s part of most christian`s faith. which is sad.

My flawless eyes require glasses, have a blind spot and can only see in a very limited spectrum. Same with my ears, nose, legs, etc etc.
And yet theists repeat the fallacy of flawless design over and over. I sincerely hope this video has stopped some of them.

Sometimes, if you're going to get across a point you need to pick up a fishbat and beat the crap out of it. I think this was very well done. Not kind, but as you point out, reality is often unkind.

Jarring, but accurate.

Not trying to cherry pick at all. Perhaps you could explain? Thanks :)

Excellent! I suspected what your angle was from the first minute. Well done.

" I believe the point remains valid though never directly stated."
Huh, are you saying that I restated your point? I thought that your point was that we can draw one of "two conclusions" that were directly stated in the video.
zweidlen7 1 year ago
@zweidlen7
You are cherry picking the sentence and the premise. You missed a layer of an onion...so to speak. Let me know if you want me to explain.
FishHeadSalad 1 year ago
*blinks* THAT was a surprise. Definitely an effective wake-up call, especially since it ensures very effectively it is not simply preaching to the choir, judging by the comments.

"Anyone born "whole" will view this video totally differently than someone who was not."
Of course, and for many reasons. Sometimes the fear of those misfortunes is enough for people to seek some sort of "divine immunity" from them. It was not a deformity, but an event, which opened my eyes and humbled me further. I would not be immune from pain and sorrow even if I were perfectly righteous.
zweidlen7 1 year ago
@zweidlen7 Thank you for agreeing with me. And like you...and me...no one is immune to pain and/or sorrow. But sometimes the realities of those things are darker to some more than others soley based on the bodies that they are forced to live in and were born with...created with...if you will. I do not want to veer too far away from the point of the video. I believe the point remains valid though never directly stated.
FishHeadSalad 1 year ago
And...The world is still beautiful to me, all of it. I say that in extreme humility because I know I still pray for good health. I pray for the safety of the babies growing within me and the health of my other children. And I have a responsibility to see the spiritual beyond the facade, pleasant or unpleasant. The worst in the world is not the deformed in body...the worst and least attractive and most tragic is that which rejects hope and love.
zweidlen7 1 year ago
I believe there is purpose in the possibility of imperfection. I have said before that, in order to have the ability to have joy in the world, the world must also have conditions allowing the possibility of pain. There has to be cause and effect, even down to the last atom.
zweidlen7 1 year ago
@zweidlen7 I find no purpose in human imperfection...meaning..."physical deformities". I find no design in it either.
I only find sorrow in the fragile imperfect genetics and the things that whirl around on an atomic level (when you break it down) that causes such things. It is easy to talk about pain when it is someone elses. Anyone born "whole" will view this video totally differently than someone who was not. Thank you for watching and your comments.

Watched all of it. Random thoughts which come to mind:
-It's really sad that over time people have mistreated or killed the deformed and oftentimes incorrectly blamed the deformity on the person or his parents on something.
zweidlen7 1 year ago
Where do you get your morals from? -> "The Bible
"Numbers 31:17-18 (King James Version) 17Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

"Only god can create life" Show me your proof of that ?
"Show me a painting that didn't have a painter" Painting isn't a living organism so it is like saying show me cheese made from oil
"To the smallest living things" explain to me why did he make Cancer, Aids, Black death ? he is a sinner himself if he wants his creations to suffer.
"Earths age " It has been PROVEN that it is 16 some BILLION years old, while according to you book of shitters its 4000 years old.

>"God does not make mistakes!"
Putting the snake in the garden was a mistake.
And in Genesis, God even said he regretted making humanity....y'know like he made a mistake and had to fix it with the Noachian Flood.
That didn't work. So he had to send (His Son|Himself) down to commit Suicide by Crucifixion to....fix his mistake.
Yahweh is incompetent. The scripture itself is his indictment.

Ahhhh. You are right. Mea Culpa. Mine Eyes DID Glazed Over at the 3 minute mark, so I didn't see the rest (until now.)
Granted, I think my rebuttal to "God Does Not Makes Mistakes" would still stand. Even if you didn't really mean it.

@FishHeadSalad - You seem to be having this problem a lot with this video.
smsavage32 1 year ago
