all you fags who say like 'you dickhead show us where it went'hes a professional golfer for christ sake, you clicked on this video to see how to get spin from listening to the exlanation and watching him stike it, you dont have to see where the ball goes to understand it. just shut up hey
if you "drag" through impact, you may spin it more, but the lower traajectory will kill the stopping power, leading to a shot that will check up and roll as opposed to stopping faster. using the "throw" technique will probly help you stop the ball quicker
Would the swing be more drag or throw...I'm guessing throw. BTW....cleaning clubface grooves is key. I had so much gunk in mine and was not aware of it until I got a groove cleaner.
not necessarily the throw, it will create the loft which will allows it to land softly, but not the spin. it's all about clean connection and moving through the ball.
that will bounce and check on the second bounce. its like a punch shot though. it wont give you maximum spin.

@640R No, you are suppose to take divots like that even when you are only 40 yds out, but around the green obviously not.

@ZzJustinZ Sure, he took it fat !.
Jeff is a good coach but he use a little bit too much his wrest during take away.
Result is a flat plane a non square club face all swing long and too much responsability for the hands in follow through. The body don't play at 100%.
