  • im watching this with my ferret and he keep saying he wants a friend so if i got a ferret would it be safe to put two males together cause i heard they will fight to the death

  • @kittykat11420 no not at all un-fixed males will fight but if your ferret is fixed and your ferret that you will get is fixed they will become long-life brothers and will love eachother to death jut make sure he is fixed it also lowers the smell by 80%

  • Please adopt a ferret. don't buy one....

  • @ferretloverxoxo

    Why cant we buy it.....

  • @haider22749 you can buy one from a breeder, but the best thing is to adopt one from a rescueorganisation or from a store because most ferrets that comes right from personal breeders is most likely to get cancer later in their lives, and the most important and best thing is; there are many ferrets and other animals that are homless and need homes, so please adopt one instead of buying one. You can give a ferret a new chanse and a new life.

  • @ItsMarko

The best thing to do is -do not- buy from a store! Most animals that come from come from mills, that breed animals for the profit and not for the quality or the temper.

If you can, look for Ferret rescues or from a breeder. Make sure you can visit the breeders home, make sure the quality is good. Don't buy a pet from a pet store if you can help it.

  • @Athynah I thought it was the other way around. Sorry for mistaking, and thank you for correcting me.

But if the breeder has bad quality ferrets, you shouldnt buy from that breeder and find an other breeder. And I agree with you, you should be able to visit the breeder. That way you can spend some time around ferrets to see if this is the right pet for you (and research them first too, ofcourse), and to check if you have an allergy.

    Do you have ferret(s)?

  • @ItsMarko

No, I don't have any Ferrets but I have been looking to own a pair. More than likely I will adopt from a rescue because just like cats and dogs these animals get abandoned for one reason or another and are starting to fill up rescue organizations and shelters.

I also know about the scandal large pet stores have. They're not really there for the pets they are there for the profit. Just look up some videos, you will see.

  • @haider22749 Because you don't "buy" a living creature, you adopt it
