Sam,I think you did a nice job with your video. It has good continuity and everyone does a nice job acting.Nice job of keeping automobiles out of the video (that helped to keep a 1920's feel to it).I liked how you did the dream sequence in black and white and the rest of the video in an amber shade.Editing is good.If I had any critique to throw your way it would be that I did notice a high voltage tower in the background in one of the shots. To everyone else-if you think it's easy, you try it!

hey migodzia, soory about the spelling it aint not as good as what my gramma isnt...but i watched your one upload taking it up to 25 views now....i liked it i thought it was really good.
Clearly you should go back to school and re-learn the very basic of punctuation and spacing between words. After a comma or period there is space, sweetie! Check your own spelling before pontificating about it to someone else. The simple fact is that you published this pseudo artistic pile of crap in to the public domain and it is being viewed by audience. I am free to express my honest opinion. If you can't take a critique, kindly refrain yourself from publishing and littering.
@migodzia That isn't a Critique, it's just bad mouthing someone. If you wish to make a critique, you point out both the good points and the bad. Then you offer suggestions on how to improve the work.
Just calling someone's work a pseudo artistic pile of crap is not a critique.
And besides, anything from a child's painting to the works of Michaelangelo is art, be it great works or just bad sketching.
If I could be one person, in all of Hollywood, I'd choose Harold Lloyd.
That said, the look of your Lloyd was great, yet you weren't displaying his mannerisms, yuh might wanna work on those, if you plan on doing more of these. And when Lloyd went into the treadmill, because of its science fiction-looking nature, I thought Harold would exit the other side into another world of a different time. What we received needed to be shortened. Less would have been more.
@migodzia First thing,if you're looking for someones movies.learn how to spell their name right. It's Lloyd with two L's. Harold Lloyd, got it?
Second, you shouldn't bad mouth what you clearly don't understand. The man that made this "A Day Out' and a few other comic shorts, did so,as a tribute. If you don't like it then just go away.
appearances ok, but in idle moments the characters should be doing something; when he leans against tree, a payoff would be a squirell dropping something down his shirt; when she's on bench, she should be preening in a pocket mirror etc.
he wasnt a monster either, he made millions happy with his movies...he probably slept around with a few co stars because it was just the done thing back then, alot like now really...
Well, I am just stating the fact that he slept around and that must have been horrible for Mildred. Not a nice thing to do. Unfortunately I know what it feels like from the other end and it is not PRETTY. Of course, it's none of our business what he did with his life but if you are going to pretend like he was an angel, he wasn't. I absolutely adore him but I also see his flaws. He wasn't a saint, nor a monster, he was human.
Harold was a ladies' man according to biographers. GO buy a bio and you will see. I read one where Hal Roach talked about the STD's that Harold used to get from his conquests. I forgot where I found that in a book.
And Dalvar I spoke with Hal Roach, he was alot of fun but lots of what he said was baloney. He made up stories all the time, there is even Stan Laurel audio talking about his whoppers. I wouldn't put stock in him as a source. What other sources do you have that Harold slept around dalvar? Many bio's say these sort of things to get sales, doesn't mean its true. However many men have including Albert Einstein, not that it makes it right.
Hm, my comment got lost somewhere. A book by Jeffrey Vance and Suzanne Lloyd says that HL had numerous affairs, including with Jobyna Ralston and many of the "3D Hollywood Nudes" he photographed. Harold was human, he wasn't perfect, we love him.
Harold Lloyd didn't smoke. Good clean wholesome boy from Nebraska, didn't drink or gamble, but f---ed the BLEEP out of women, right, left and centre (fyi). Can you incorporate some of this into your portraits of him?
4MaryAnna you're right about one thing, Harold Lloyd was married to the same woman (Mildred Davis) for 45 years. However, ferociousgumby is right, he was very popular with the ladies and his infidelity is well documented.
I just adore Harold Lloyd and I guess I like to think of him as being better than most people, but I know you're right about the ladies.I only hope he kept it from Mildred?Or perhaps that's why she started drinking? I don't really know, but I am thinking about buying a book on his life, only I don't know which one to get.I keep hearing that the Encyclopedia one is the best.Does anybody know?

Why do you have to post your rubbish attempt under someone elses famous name?
Be brave and sign it with your own name.
I hope you do have one? (No, it is NOT Harold Loyd).
I'm looking for Harold Loyd's movies and I do not wish to be mislead by pseudo "artistic" amateurish make over. Do not litter!
