I actually had the same idea with the Albino Drakes a while ago, but that they are more like the warriors of the world that don't have any true magic in them but do what they can to deffend their world. Kinda like the players do. Nice to see someone has a close idea to what I do :)

Gnome was chromie from the bronze dragon flight and the draenei and the night elf were agents on the bronze dragon flight. They were brought back to stop the guy that he killed from changing the future. The guy he killed was an agent of the infinite dragon flight.

@Travelatrie It's not a Black Dragon, it's one of the Infinite Dragon Flight, basically they screw around throughout time trying to change or alter events...why hasn't been made clear yet (They turn up in each of the Caverns of time Instances as enemies as either normal enemies or instance bosses).

All the details about the "White drake" will be explained in two bigger project (Wardens of Azeroth being one of them and already released) and the whole deal regarding that Black dragon (2nd project). Of course I could just flag the whole short as canon and not related to the full story at all.

Yes I am aware of this, however; White dragons do not exsist lore-wise in the Warcraft universe... So I can butcher the story of white coloured dragons however I want. ;)

And dragons can take on any form they wish. For instance; Green dragons can be seen in Night Elf and Highborn disguises. Theres a "favour" in what disguise certain flights like to be but its not neccessary.

But expect no big deal out of it. I'm not going to fill the movie with eye-candy and make it in Myndflame or Soosdon quality. I like doing machinima just because its a "unique" way to waste your time. Many people got the idea that every (WoW) machinima NEEDS to be like Tales of the Past III. And a lot of people who will watch the end product will be disappointed cause of it.

The Knight on the horse that visited the camp was in truth an Infinite Dragon (evil dragons) in a disguise, sent to kill the leader of the Argent Crusade. The white dragon (good guy) was sent to stop the assassination of the Crusades leader. The end where 'good guys' get teleported is a look into the future, showing what a big impact had the 'survival' of the Crusades leader.

But I created the movie in a way that people can make up their own explanations of how and why...

Who said the black dragon was a "good" guy? There are not only white or black sides, there are also grey sides.

As for the Infinite Dragonflight... They're evil. Yes, they want to change history that looks bad at first sight but if the Orcs never came to Azeroth, there would never be a discovery of Kalimdor, the "froces of Azeroth" would have an ally less at the battle for mount Hyjal, etc. At the end, events don't affect just the "present" but also the future...

In Escape from Durnholde Keep, they interrupt Thrall's escape by kidnapping Taretha. In Opening the Dark Portal, they attempt to prevent Medivh from opening the portal. In the Culling of Stratholme, they try to hide the evidence Arthas uses to rationalize and support his order to purge Stratholme The nature and purpose of the Infinite Dragonflight are unknown, but comments made by Epoch Hunter do reveal that they serve a single master.

An orc can be raised within the shamanistic heritage of his people, learn to channel positive energy and become a healer, follow Thrall and his religion's rules to the letter, and still have no compunctions against killing a lawful good paladin who is following his lord's orders to rid the world of the orcs who killed his parents. It is easy for good characters to be at the wrong ends of swords, and it is just as easy for evil characters to band together to fight the greater good.

In each of the cases of their involvement it can be argued that by changing events that occurred, they are in fact improving the future for the better, such as stopping Medivh from opening the Dark Portal which allowed demons entry to Azeroth, as well as preventing the actions leading up to Prince Arthas becoming the Lich King. Involvement in the case of Thrall's Escape from Durnholde Keep are questionable.

The point of view should also be considered. From a playersperspective, the opinions are mixed but from the other dragonflights perspective (Bronze especially) they're evil. Since the main "protagonist" of the short is a dragon, I showed the story from a dragons perspective so in the story they're presented as an "evil flight".

Time manipulation is a difficult thing... what is good and what bad, should we change the past if we could and so on...
