I believe in god, but that's a really assinine thing to say. If Mr. Robertson new anything about Voodoo he'd know that their is a great many christian ideologies in the Voodoo religion. And what about all the Christians that were killed? It wasn't just Voodoo Priests and followers that were killed.

There may have been historical truth to his statements, but on the logical side there is large numbers of holiness groups in Haiti who dedicated themselves to the Lord. 50,000 in just the UPCI alone. The fact here remains that an earthquake can strike anywhere, just as Jesus said... in divers places!

Haiti and the Dominican republic are right next to each other same island Demographics of the DR 90% Catholic Ethnic groups mixed 70%, white 20%, black 10% Demographics of Haiti 85% Catholic 90-95% of Haitians are of predominately African descent; the remaining 5-10% of the population are mostly of mixed-race background.
