@Johnnypetka dude, the mg34 was used by SVA in the beginning. they also were given by russians to the NVA. how? they captured them by dead germans during world war 2
This seems to be the German equivalent of an M60 it looks cool, used mostly as a support weapon and jams like a motherfucker I've been to 3 videos on this gun each one has it jamming after a quick burst
I dunno if that's just bad ammo... looks like you had a few problems with either your links or your feed tray as well. That's one of the disadvantages of the MG34, the tolerances are so insanely tight that the slightest internal damage can throw off the whole thing. That said, though, they're amazing weapons, and very very expensive on today's market.
@Lockbar the germans were quick to replace this with the mg42. the mg34 had very tight tolerances and a complicated bolt that made it vulnerable to jamming.
The gun was great to me, but it jammed to fast, and it had a decent accuracy. Sure it was used in Vietnam, but why isn't it in Black Ops?

@toughserb145 MG34 wasn´t used in Vietnam. The barrel looks like .50 cal machine gun from Vietnam...

Ammo are also an issue, the Germans used 7.92x57mm Mauser, I don't know if such bullets are still produced.

We had bad ammo. 8x57JS is still produced. It's very popular ammo for hunting.

They don't use it correctly because they didn't served in army, an trained soldier should use it without problems.

About 25 years ago I had a live MG-34 like this one. It always jammed up like this. How did the germans ever get them to work?
Lockbar 2 years ago
They had better ammo I guess.
Johnnypetka 2 years ago 3
better ammo and NEW weapons straight from the factory
clarkcolt45 2 years ago 5
Probably were better trained in maintenance, feeding ammo in at right speed, newer guns, maybe hotter ammo?
