Nice bike! I used to own a 97 scrambler 400. It was the best quad I ever had and I have owned several. 1996 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 1999 Honda Fourman 4x4,2003 Honda 400ex,2004 Yamaha Banshee. I still love the Polaris Scrambler the best. It would climb anything
@calvinpiels well the people who tell you that do not know how to take care of their bikes. my scrambler blew a hole in the crank case, but we found out it was a mfg defect in the crankcase and they had done a recall on it but it didnt get taken care of it and we really had no control over that one, other than that my 1995 polaris scrambler 400l has been just as reliable as my brothers 2001 yamaha warrior, and the warriors are tough as fucking nails. i dont have any complaints on the
it has the 2x4 center hood on it the 4x4 have the light on the bars and i have a 2000 400 2 stroke scrambler and comparing it to a 500 4x4 4 stroke 03 the throtle is way better on the 500 bc 4 stroke but the 400 lighter if you have the 2x4 and fast in the higher rpms
i own bot polaris 350 2 stoke and a scrambler 500. and i have to say they are. even. i like the relibility of the 4 and the spped of the 2. i do have problems with my 2 stroke overheating often though. so for me the 500 gets its
Dude you are comparing 500 to the old school 350.whats up with that???? when you compair, at least be fair a 400 to a 500.we are not compairing your 4 wheelers, look at the pictures and compair the 400 to the 500.
i know but i have riden many many polaris bikes. including both the 400 and 500 scramblers and many different mods. and still i think the 4 stoke 500 powerplant gets it. i still dont have anything against the 400 or any 2-stroke because they are light and easy to work on. just my experience with the scrambler 400, wasnt the best
If you look closer you can see the front drive shafts, that makes it a scrambler. I just used the sport hood and removed the dual head lights. so you could say I have a scrambler sport.
~~ My vote goes to the 400 ,, more fun (and faster) , and way easier to work on . that nose looks like it came off a ol' sport400 ,, and that seat is off a newer scrammy huh,, it looks cool .. I dont like that chain guard though , they hold mud n junk in there . ~~
