  • Well. That was an epic drum solo. XD

  • All I can think is that this drummer studied the work of Harpo Marx . Musical and hilarious. Go MOPDtK

  • His blast beats at the start are phenomenal, such technique

  • DO NOT press thumbs down if you're not going to watch the entire video. It's worth the wait.

  • The drummer loves his cough syrup.

  • is that jon irabagon on alto?

  • ...but i thought music was supposed to be sacred and serious all the time. no i didn't. this is mad fun. i first heard mr. Shea in the group People....he does lotsa rad shit...

  • " Nah Man! A Drummer's got to play in the pocket. The Pocket. If he ain't playing in the pocket, then he ain't really playing drums. You understand what I mean? The pocket is everything. Don't forget to play in the pocket, cause that's when the rest of the band can play in the pocket. You understand what I mean when I say play in the pocket, don't you?....."etc etc...........

  • one time a sound man asked me if i was done setting up after i had already been playing for a few minutes.

  • this is actually so beautiful. real music no matter what

  • All my dreams came true in this video.

  • Best Solo Ever =)

  • Seriously, this is the most ingenius drumsolo I´ve ever heared. Unfortunately, the rest of the band total lacks that kind of creativity and gives us the same old pointless freejazz-crap as usual.

  • @tinselworm It's meant to be funny. Look at the other videos. He's a good drummer.

  • @tinselworm hey tinselworm! i cant get you people with that "6 year old can do that too" comparism. your socalled skills, you like to expect from "good" musicians or other artists have more to do with well-trained circus artistry than with music or any real living art. what this drummer here does within that seemingly nonsens-action, is incredible musically drumming, that one cannot practice or plan or write down for others to "imitate" it. and that people like you unfortunately cant hear!

  • @tinselworm Did you watch the video to 7:50, or did you not watch the whole video and make an assumption?

  • well think of it this way... if you were blind and you couldn't see what Kevin was doing in this video or at any of his live performances for that matter, the sonic landscape of what is happening during the drum solo would be quite fascinating now wouldn't it??

  • this is the best thing ive ever seen!

  • hey im not sure...i think you will have a "concert" at our school tomorrow =)

im really looking forward to this =)

are you playing at the "jazz-/moers-"festival ?

  • Gleich kommt noch ein zweiter Blumentopf hinterhergeflogen!

  • Couls someone please explain the meaning of this video. Is this comedy, performance art, theater, or music?

    I'm serious.

    Thanks.

  • i think it's Jazz with a kind of art....these guys are people who "live" their music...

i think there are two kinds of people...the ones who LOVE that and the ones who think its funny or cant understand....

  • And a third kind! Those who love to watch other people not understand that and laugh at them.

  • All four.

    I'm also serious.

  • true music. don't hate, just understand. if music is self-expression then this kind of stuff is the most extreme form.

  • 5 stars

  • thats the funniest thing ive ever seen in my life

  • what the hell is he doing?

  • Funny? Would've been if it didn't go on for ten friggin minutes. The felt and drumkey puppet theater was pretty good though.

    Stupid jazz musicians. :D

  • I say he is A jackass...

  • lol thats true artwork XD jk
