i saw this when i was 6yrs old! in spanish...it was called "la fortaleza prohibida" i had a few beers tonight...and some how this movie poped in my head...i told my fried at the bar about it and he said i was crazy...then in my drunkeness i discribed the movie and he said...."frank you are talking about Sky Riders with James Coburn?" i said James Caburn? from the magnificient 7? lol!!!!!

I bought an 8 minute version of this film on Super 8mm film in the late 70s when i was 11 or so. Before cable, DVD or even VHS if you wanted to own the film the best you could do was to buy a mega-abbreviated black and white silent version on super8mm film from Ken Films. I still have it- and oddly enough, Ive never seen the full length version!

where did this clip come from? I first saw this movie in the theatre in 1976 then perhaps once or twice on the television. Since then I have sought all over the internet for a copy of it -- to no avail. But still hopeful that it will one day be released. Suddenly these 3 minutes pop up on youtube --what a teaser. Hope to one day find out where I can watch the whole movie. A fantastic movie - unforgetable.

seen this movie when i was verry young. one of the few movies that i was impressed with and never forgot.glad to see some seens brought back memories. can you imagine liveing in one of the homes castles on the top of the clift. would be great. it is a beautiful world wish i could see it all before i die.

love this! - istarted flying hang giders in 1975, saw this movie in the cinema in '76 i guess - gliders are wills wing swallowtails, flown by bob & chris wils and friends, LOVE to see the whole movie, which was deleted not long after release - any chance of posting the whole thing?

@billumbonkers just read maralys''s book on the wills family. co wrote with chris wills. alot about bobby, a royal pain in the ass, but he came into his own hang gliding and you ended up loving him. got a kid just like him, i guess there's hope.

there is a little on the swallow tail in the book and how a dealer for them in nevada copied it and sold it as his own although the boys said his rip off kite flew "like shit" Get the book I here there others from maralys on flying which i will r
