I like tillian and all .. and he fits. . but I think hes too "pretty" sounding for Saosin and his vibrato doesnt really fit .... but all that aside .... tilian is god among singers.

...this sounds like SAOSIN + some guy at the vocals. It just sounded different when it was anthony and when it was cove. 1st time i heard saosin (w/ anthony) i was blown away... with cove, i was intrigued and stoked like they all made it work. This one just sounds like they're hiring someone to sing their songs. Tilian's voice doesn't sound unique enough... doesnt stand out as much as anthony's or cove's. just my 2 cents.

Odd thing is, this sounds too raw to be studio-recorded and too polished to be a raw demo…but I'm loving it.

@020stevenleu Beau has some experience with production and so that is probably why you are hearing the polished sound. However, he probably didn't use a first class studio to do it and in all likelihood this is not mastered which is why it sounds raw.

@centraliabandpa Hahahahahaha, Anthony Green is perhaps one of the most unique vocalists in the industry. Their original EP with him is still the best music they ever made, though the self-titled album was great too. You do realize that people can't choose the way which is comfortable to sing, and both Tilian and Anthony have amazing voices.

Now this i more like it. "Change" has Tilian in a way higher octave, and it just doesn't sound normal. In this he's a little more relaxed in his voice, which is when he sounds most like Anthony Green.

Tides was just plain better as a band. I'm talking musicianship, chemistry, and song-writitng. Tilian is the best part of this song. :/

seeing how this is a demo i can see why Tilian even said the vox are raw but i like the flow of this song and the lyrics aren't too shabby. and we all know Saosin can write a killer riff and rhythm so i agree with some fine tuning and the more they play together it will be excellent

At first the two demo songs with tilian was weird to me cause the sound is really different from the albums with cove, but now it's decent. I think if they recorded in higher quality and it was more clear with a real EP, I think i would enjoy it :)

don't get me wrong Tilian is great but I don't think he has a wide enough vocal range like Anthony or Cove had. I just wish Saosin will just make a decision already.

ummm sir, you haven't listened to enough tides of man have you? look up a song called Western Scene or Chemical Fires or Knowing... he hits very high notes.. and don't get me wrong i'm big fans of all of them actually.. he doesn't have a very wide range enough to hit a highG -__- which nether cove or anthony has done

Archives isn't his side-project. It's his band. He's not in Saosin or Emarosa.

Even though I was really disappointed when I found out he left Tides of Man, I really like him in Saosin. I'll probably start liking Saosin again.

Saosin will finish writing their new album first, then Tilian will come do the new album, but while Tilian waits he'll be filling in for Emarosa on tour. He will also start his new side project called Archives.
