  • the future ken rosenthal right there

  • Excellent interview, young Nick. I think Clayton was impressed.

  • He and Matt Kemp have such a great personality..... Despite all the McCourt drama, I love beinga Dodger fan for life.

  • My advice to anyone that wants to be good at anything, practice and practice basic skills every single day. The top musician in the entire world does scales every single day. It doesn't matter if you already know the basics, practicing the basics is what separates the best from everyone else.

  • @showmetexas agreed, I have played/coached at a high level and my advice is to not underestimate the basic fundamentals, repetition is key. Ever wonder why a big leaguer, who is typically not a bunter, may not be able to lay down a bunt when asked, say in a playoff game or a rare situation? Well, he should be able to. So, yes, just work harder every day and, as Kershaw said, have fun, which is very important, enjoy the journey. I liked this interview, I think it's great to have kids doing this.

  • Nick your good!!! keep it up and you'll be the best!!!

  • Wow! What a great accomplishment. I am continuously amazed at the incredible people that Nick gets to interview. But what I love most is his positive message to kids about professional sports. It's an inspiration.
