Some insurance companies now ban certain breeds. no coverage for your home if you have one of the banned breeds. There should be a ban on insurance carriers for this, but there is not. My own sister cannot watch my dog over the weekends because she is a GSD mix. GSD's are banned under her insurance carrier; And she is an insurance agent. Kind of makes one wonder.
Ban BSL and take your business to a carrier that does not blacklist dogs based on breed.

@cheapcape The ASPCA has no-kill shelters for animals. They are kept in spacious rooms with plenty of food and are allowed to live out their full lives there if they are never adopted. I think that is awesome and we need more no-kill shelters in the world.

I was watching a thing on Animal Planet today and they were showing how the ASPA saved a pit bull from a ass hole that didn't feed her and a dog trainer took her. He said that this: I hate the fact that the news has to put pit bulls all over the news and makes them look so mean and fierce, when in reality any dog can be as mean as a pit bull. He also said that he has seen Chihuahuas as mean as a pit to just attack people .
I fully agree with him that pits are really made more out of what kinda of loving and reliable dog they really are. We used to own a pit bull but she died of a tumor, but she was a very intelligent and lovable dog.
What makes me mad is that aspca put animals down for behaviors such possesion aggresion and food agression all in the the name of not haveing enough money.

My sister has a pit, she was rescued from hurricane katrina, she was pregnant and was going to be uthinized. My sis worked at the humane society and rescued her! She had puppies and they were all given good homes, my sister also rescued a bulldog, but had to take her back becuse she attacked the pittbull!! She had the pit, Siri, pinned down!! Siri is also afraid of cats! She dosent bark either!!!! Great video!

In my opinion, pit bulls are great dogs. And people who fight them deserve to be arrested and tormented the same way. Animals are people too. And people are sooo afraid of them because of all the bad things they show about these dogs. It's not the dog's fault it bit someone. It's not the dog's fault it's aggressive. If you took the time to look, you'll see it's the owners fault. Pit Bull fighting is obsecured.

The temperament test: three of the categories concern aggression. A Pom owner cannot and would not say their dog was trained to defend them. Two barks at the "threat" person, and the Pom fails. The Pitt owner simply says their dog has been trained to defend (schutzhund trained), then the Pitt could break his leash and attack the "threat" person who can't approach closer than 10 feet to the dog, and no points are deducted for the temperament test. Guess what dog the majority of ATT testers own.

me my sister my aunt and my grandma have been feed cats at a trailer park for almost a year now and the cats there have been starving, abused and POISONED! we have rescued about 35 of them with my aunt taking 8, my sister taking 1, me taking 1, my grandma taking 2, and ramdom perple taking the rest
