It's a fact that more bunkers underground are being built in CO in the Rockys and DIA. Russia is building 5,000 more bomb shelters. The important thing here is that Earths magnetic field is constantly moving. Is interaction with a lot of other forces. Continental drift, sun, moon etc. We live, unfortunately, in a universe where the only thing that you can count on, is that you can't count on anything at all!

This may not necessarily be due to pole shift. Magnetic deviation in aviation is known as isogonic lines. It is the amount of magnetic deviation in a given location. In central US it is around 2 degrees. On east coast it is around 12 degrees. West coast runs around 22 degrees of deviation.

Here in the central US, we typically have about 2 - 3 degrees of deviation. On east and west coast deviation is much stronger.

@Rhonda9931 I used to work in a care home for the developmentally challenged. Two of my co-workers found out and were able to prove that there were more negitive behaviors on a full moon. So yes I think magnetic pull can effect behavior.
they closed down because of snow. They dont have the same runway clearing technology as canada do. and they dont have millions too spend a year on having that technology.

@Lachance8 yes it is uncommon for us here in the midwestern usa. and to THEJM8284: our north pole moves by usualy 14 miles or so per yr, it has more than doubled in the recent times.buy a compas and set it on your table for a few hrs. make sure it points north at the beginning and watch.....it will be off by more than 5 degrees in no time....

If anything they are minimizing what they are telling us to prevent people from panicking.

Runways are numbered according to the magnetic alignment.
It's not that the airport needs physical work but the planes rely
on this magnetic number to get there. Once the airport runway is
in sight, who cares what the magnetics say unless a pilot relies
on auto pilot to land then the cpt is whacked out. The change in magnetics
effects the whole flight. Don't understand why just 1 airport was mentioned.
I Think there is more to this story than what they say.
