I think the guy in the beginning of the video is Tony, Danzig's tour bus driver. If anyone has ever read Marilyn Manson's book "Long road out of hell" or listened to "Smells like Children", this Tony dude is soooo creepy. I went to see Korn/Marilyn Manson/Danzig show in 1995. I actually met Marilyn and Twiggy while Danzig was playing their gig. But after reading Marilyn's book, sooo glad we didn't get backstage cuz it sounded pretty crazy!!!!!!!!

saw this tour in orlando and the following day in tampa. korn played for a half an hour... marilyn manson played for the same length. danzig took it for 2 hours and people started to leave before the show was over. glenn was getting pissed off saying, "I thought everybody came here to see a Danzig show!". Hence, less than a year later... he kicked his band members out and went industrial. Weak.

I personally loved this time in rock history when MM gave us that much needed jolt of something DIFFERENT to break the monotony of what had became the Rock scene with everyone wearing flannels and Doc Martens. That Danzig Tour with MM was my second favorite Danzig tour I have attended following of course the DANZIG/TON tour which was all time great.

I would say that he has many similarities with other musicians (sort of how we have a lot in common with those who raised us). Personally I think that Manson shows inspiration in costume for Mechanical Animals from David Bowie in Scary Monsters and Super Creeps (Bowie even sported one red eye contact). Manson's voice is also Bowie like at times with his vibrato. I try to imagine Manson doing a version of Bowie's 'Ashes to Ashes'. Check that song out if u haven't already. Robert Fripp guitars
