I heard this song in the last couple years (on the web in the U.S.), and it is one of the BEST songs I have heard in the last 5 years. I listened to it ALL day today. Even though the lyrics are a little sad, It has such an irresistible dance beat, & the singer's (Petra's)? voice is so distinct and beautifully unusual. Thank you, David Holmes, Petra, & the talented musicians!

If you mean the opening sample then it's a song called "Death Of A Hero" from a rare as hen's teeth Russian psych-rock-funk album from the 1970's by Alexander Gradsky - I have it on vinyl but can't tell you much as it's all in Russian but if you do some digging around with the basics here via ebay etc you may find it - pretty damn rare though.....
