You certainly have a problem with the car, I have a 2006 Accord 2.4 166hp and it is faster than that.

Is that slow cuz is a rent, some rental companys order to put a ecu bloker, or a caind of device that doesnt let you use the whole power of the car. i have an accord 2009 and it does 7.8s 0-60.

assalam ou 3aleikom..i just wanted to ask you...how was the driving of this car when u rented it? i mean was it smooth or not..fast acceleration..braking etc.? cuz i want to buy one but am not sure about  it or stay on toyota camry..(i have a 2006 camry with 102000 km on it),,please advice me

handling and smoothness for accord

comfort and braking for camry

no it cant hurt the car that is what 123 are for on a auto

not really there to help for towing but it can have bad repercussions from doing it often

I do it all the time in my civic. especially when i want to get to 70mph in first gear because in automatic in shift from 2nd to 3rd gear at around 65 mph and manually 70 at redline.
