  • If there is a hell, Mother Therea is in it. If there is a heaven Mr. Hitchen's may be in it, and if he is it would be worth going to - finally!!

  • 4:35

  • Hitch's daily plan:

    1. Get out of bed 2. light a cigarette 3. own religious people

  • Why are some people laughing? Its like they think hes joking.

  • Teresa was an evil monster. It's a blessing she's gone (excuse the freudian slip lol)

  • Got to Love him , voice of truth and fearless

  • Hitchens is a loss to the world

  • @wasianwigger Good riddence.

  • Comment removed

  • All this FOOL does is talk trash about any successful religious people. He is in hell for what he did and the trash talk he said against God. PPl follow him like sheep. open ur eyes fools.

  • @BestMusic2012 Mother Teresa was evil. She said 'suffering brings your closer to god'. She did nothing to help the dying, her hospice was pitiful and yet she had access to millions of dollars. Her stance against condoms and contraception cause missions to suffer. And in the end, her letters showed that she was not quite convinced of the existence of god.

  • @csadler OMFG. WILL U THINK FOR URSELF??? WHY IN THE HELL ARE U FOLLOWING WHAT ANOTHER FREAKING MAN SAYS??? MAKE UP UR OWN MIND. ur the exact puppy and sheep that governments love to control. Jesus. I hope u open ur eyes because all you athiests are missing something big but apparantly u just want to argue that God does NOT exist and u demand proof but wen proof is presented, u call it fake, unauthorized, etc. and u look the other way. Im tired fo debating fools. go research.

  • @BestMusic2012 No *proof* for god has ever been presented that is in any way convincing. And *which* god would it be? There have been so many. But I bet I know - its your god, thats the one right? LOL. Lucky for you. You should also invest in some books. Try reading more - it just might improve your communication skills. You seem quite weak is this regard.

  • @csadler just look at this guy Hitch. his communication is pretty laughable. All of his videos are him talking trash about God especially Christianity. I know there is only one God...Jesus Christ.

  • @BestMusic2012 You *know* there is only one god. Wow. Funny thing, is that a believer of any *other* religion will say the same thing about their god. Maybe you should try reading your bible and when doing so, keep asking yourself. Are these the words of the creator of the known universe? There is nothing in the bible that could not have been written by a person thinking the wheelbarrow was emerging technology. Religion is a virus of the mind - and you have been infected.

  • @csadler here is the thing. Christianity was the first religion and as Jesus said there will be many false prophets to come AFTER ME and don't let them decieve u. And Jesus said when I come, u will know and see me in the clouds coming down. So csadler, the bible was written by the apostles whom lived with Jesus. God is speaking through them. god didn't write it and drop it from heaven like u think. Jesus was roaming egypt & jerusalem with the 12 apostles, they wrote their stories

  • @BestMusic2012 "Christianity was the first religion". Total fail. You need to do some research. To make this claim is a total embarrassment. Christianity was in fact a rip off of religions that came before it. And I know about the bible. I've studied it in detail. Especially the parts where it promotes slavery, murder, rape and the slaughter of baby boys. Its one evil book of myths.

  • @csadler one word to describe you = ignorant. Another word = closed-minded. Seriously u would believe anything u read. Sure there are 'religions' that worship the sun, or a statue, or animals, some even worship cows (because it gives them milk so they think it is God), some worship man (mohammed), ONE worships God (Jesus). God came down from heaven and became man that is Jesus. everything is recorded. And what verse does Jesus order christians to go kill ?? show me.

  • @BestMusic2012 I'm ignorant? Wow. Ok lets help you out a bit here. First "Seriously u would believe anything u read." - no, but I do read at least 2 books a week. Thats how you learn things. The god Horus, was born of a virgin on Dec 25th and visited by 3 Kings. He s tarted to preach at the age of 30 and had 12 disciples. He was crucified and buried; then resurrected. Does that ring any bells?

  • @BestMusic2012 "God came down from heaven and became man that is Jesus. everything is recorded. "

Recorded? Hahahahah. Recorded decades after he died. We no longer have the original copies. The copies we do have all differ. There are errors galore. The gospels all differ on the accounts of Jesus life and death and resurrection. Just study the bible for a little bit. Read if, read books from Ehrman who is a New Testament scholar to see how poor the bible is in its accuracy.

  • @BestMusic2012 Now for some bible study. Numbers 31. The slaughter of baby boys, and god helps divide up the spoils. Exodus 21, the rules for slavery. Deuteronomy 21 how to treat female prisoners of war. Deuteronomy 25 - how to treat a woman who intervenes in a fight. Deuteronomy 22 - god tells us to stone rape VICTIMS as well as rape victims having to marry their attacker. And I could go on.

  • @BestMusic2012 Tell me. Do you believe in the talking snake? Or in the flood and that Noah actually had all the animals on a boat? Did a man live in a *big fish* for 3 days? Is the bible correct on these things? :-)

These things can not be believed by a thinking person. Use you mind man...

  • @csadler ok how about that Noah died at 950 years?? nowadays, 100 years is like wow u made it. What I am trying to say is that if u read the bible LITERALLY then u won't understand what the message is or what God is trying to tell u. don't waste ur time loking into simple things like oh does a talking snake exist or do unicorns exist.

  • @BestMusic2012 thats easy to say: ignore all the bad and implausible stuff in the bible. but then again, without those things its still rubbish. 'try to understand the message of God' ha? not so difficult to see how immoral this god is.

read the bible. learn about the history of christianity. see what religion does nowadays. and open your eyes.

  • @BestMusic2012 Surely God would make things plain & simple. Why bother with all the symbolism etc? If God really wanted people to believe then hed make things easy for the average person to understand?.......Oh.Hang on.I bet I'll be told its the 'Devil' making me say & think these things & I'm going to Hell?

  • If there was ever a classic case of self-hatred, this is it.

  • I really wish I was enrolled in his class..

  • Looking at my favourite hitchens clips tonight. Love this one!

  • We'll never forget you Hitch. Rest In Peace big man

  • @PTSD101 Why do the religious hate facts so much they ignore them in favour of the meaningless accolades they give each other and think a label like "Saint" actually means anything? The man was speaking the truth. Truth is the opposite of faith.

  • I'm sure he regrets these words now. He earned a lot of money bashing a SAINT. What a jerk.

  • @PTSD101 The title "Saint" means nothing to me, nor to anyone else whom does not subscribe to the given religion. He bashed a thieving, crooked and fraudulent albanian dwarg, and she deserved it.

The Catholic church has to be the most gruesome insitution ever invented by man.

  • @SigDrums Before Mother Teresa nobody cared about the dying on the streets of Calcutta, they figured, oh well, let them die. It was Mother Teresa that brought their problems in front of the world to see. Do your own research.

  • @PTSD101

Except that Teresa actually did not care about the dying really. She only used them as a means to an end. There are many charities in the world that have done so much for the poor in India far more than the Missionaries of Charity ever did in their existence.

  • @bjnboy Like who?

  • @PTSD101

The Assembly of God, an American charity, that serves 18000 meals in Kolkata (Calcutta) daily. Teresa barely fed over 200 and even then you need special food cards.

Pannalal Manik is another man who did more than MT. What Manik has achieved, can well be called a "miracle". He has built 16 apartment buildings in the midst of the slum -- living space for 4000 people. The Ramakrishna Mission [a Indian/Hindu charity], is the largest assistance-organisation in India.

  • @PTSD101

In Calcutta there are about 200 charitable organisations helping the poor. Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity are not amongst the biggest helpers.

  • @PTSD101

I should also mention that Mother Teresa saw it as as her God given right never to have to pay anyone for anything. Once she bought food for her nuns in London for GB£500. When she was told she'd have to pay at the till, the diminutive seemingly harmless nun showed her Balkan temper and shouted, "This is for the work of God!" She raged so loud and so long that eventually a businessman waiting in the queue paid up on her behalf.

  • @SigDrums Well what about your Atheist friends Lenin and Stalin, and the Communist Party of the Soviet union, Thay murdered about 20,000,000 of their people, and you call the Catholic Church gruesome, do you ?

  • @ballinora53 Who the hell are you to call me a friend of Stalin? Begone, I will not talk to people who generalize others.

  • @SigDrums But I thought that Lenin and Stalin were Atheists, Since you hate the Catholic Church I thought you would be a supporter of those that murder Catholics

  • @SigDrums But I thought Stalin and Lenin were Atheist heroes, did not they murder many Catholic and other Christians, You called the catholic Church the 2most gruesome instituation ever invented by man" where does the murdering atheist regimes of China, North Korea, AND THE Soviet Union come in so, and after the vile names you called Mother Teresa, what comment have you for Stalin and Lenin. Just because the English drunk called Mother Teresa those vile names prove them true

  • @ballinora53 What substance in atheism is there that leads/commands people to mass murder? There are none. No books, no prophets or chosen men that are infallible in their writing or spoken word. Atheism is just a consistent view on what men have written and preached about the unseen supernatural; that it is not true, no reason to believe.

The only response to this that I have heard is that morality is maintained through fear and bowing to athority; above human beings. Is that what you believe?

  • @Stipoon Atheism is a natural and inseperable part of Marxism, Lenin

  • @ballinora53 politics is not religion. Unravel those. Atheism as a philosophy has nothing to do with communism

  • @Neueregel Atheism is a natural and inseperable part of Marxism, Lenin I rest my case

  • @ballinora53 "inseperable part of Marxism?" Really? And how do you explain the fact that most Atheists (me included) dislike Marxism and Communism?

  • @Neueregel Hitchens was a great supporter of the Russian revolution, where do you stand with Hitchins

  • @ballinora53 Since when did you believe what Lenin had to say? Again, what substance in atheism is there that leads to Marxism?

"I don't believe what men have written about the supernatural, from before bronze age palestine and up to the 19th and 20th century with Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard and Sathya Sai Baba" --> Marxism. Is that your logic?

How does Ayn Rand, Objectivism, Milton Friedman and Michael Shermer fit into your logic?

  • @Stipoon . Where do you satand on Lenin the Atheist's murders of Roman Catholics and fellow Christian and Hitchen being a Marxist

  • @ballinora53 You have to remember that Leninism, Stalinism, Nazism, Maoism, etc were all religious in nature.

They required faith, devotion, and the worship of a dictator. Exactly the same as religion.

    But secular no they weren't.

  • @ec123456789able Stalinism and Leninism religious in nature, a strange view since Lenin and Stalin murdered religious people because of their faith and turned their Churches into Museums of Atheism, and was not Hitchins a Marxist who supported the Russian Revolation and the murdering junta of the Atheists/Communists.

  • @ballinora53 You don't appear to have read what I wrote.

Catholicism and Christianity are not the same idealogy as Stalinism, however they both follow the same religious structure of worship, devotion, sacrifice, and faith.

Secularism is not an organised belief system. It is a form of objectivism.

No one is condoning Stalin. At least not me.

  • bahaha thanks @gat0rgirl13

  • what's that word he says... "some of my natural tenderness and *cudeur*" or is it kudos?

    SOMEONE enlighten me.

  • @phantasmaniacal i believe he's saying "pudeur" which means modesty

  • @phantasmaniacal it's french for reserve/delicacy/prudishness/modesty

  • @luyben12 THE AD HOMINEM AIRPLANE IS TAKING OFF!

  • he is right the catholic church make a sin the use of birth control why is simple more poor people less educated they will be and firmer the grip on them, take a look in Sweden the majority are atheist and they have one of the best countries to live they are out of the news except some news like soccer or social page not mention the low rate in crime and unemployment and so on thanks live long and prosper

  • I like the principle of objectivity. It's a great aspiration. I like the denouncing of harmful actions, whoever perpetrated them, and especially when they are irrationally excused due to some perceived saintliness. What we must be cautious of, however, is thinking that embracing "objectivity" is like innoculation, over in a shot, thereafter protecting us from all rational error. Through his subjective, fallible lens, Hitchens cites wickedness of a religious person to condemn religion.

  • The lack of context in his commentary is scary. 1) Mother Theresa was not perfect, accepted. She would have said as much 2) There are thousands of people who not have been cared for AT ALL in the absence of her work 3) These people would not have lived longer or been better cared for, they simply would not have been, period. 4) Control of female reproduction is the only solution to poverty and disease? Strange that it is a very recent phenomenon in prosperous western countries then, surely?

  • @MrWildbill20056 It's such a typical attitude amongst the prochoice. To kill off the poor.

  • Its almost scary how serious he is at the end there, brave man, im delighted I get to see these videos

  • Interesting how the defenders of Mother Teresa never try to and refute HItchens' evidence; they just attack his character and repeat the same thing.

"How you attack Mother Teresa! Look at all she's done for the poor!"

" She actually hasn't done anything for the poor."

"How dare you attack Mother Teresa! Look at all she's done. . ."

  • Hitchens is my god!

  • Teresa had a weird fetish, or whatever the he'll it was, to hang around sick and dying people for years. It certainly wasn't any form of compassion. She made sure the dying died faster and as painfully as possible. No, she would dare use her resources to provide proper medical care. Hell no. The Vatican only have a few billion and that's barely enough to pay for their everyday living expenses. She was their PR TOOL and I'm sure the perverted bastards in the Vatican are extremely pleased with th

  • teresa was a sadist

  • Please note all the inappropriate laughter. Hitchens is going for irony and people are laughing when you should be hearing crickets. Pearls before swine...

  • Christopher Hitchens is Satan!

  • @THEBIGCAGEY So true!

  • Obscurantist/plagiarist/historical revisionist Christopher Hitchens supports the eugenic policies of the modern-day Western World: carbon taxes (which will double the price of grain); abortion (infanticide/genocide); endless warfare (as Orwell had warned us of in "1984"); confiscatory taxation; Z.P.G. (Zero Population Growth); "atheism"/Darwinism (the denigration of personhood/self-sovereignty) & internationalism (planetary government). If anyone is then surely: he's deserving of deportation.

  • @ThingsTerrestrial thanks for that useless rant.

  • Christ' Hitchens, the "intellectual," places blind faith in the chemico-/radio- “therapies” utilized to frustrate (or thwart) the placental onslaught of crab cancer, even though they are serologically worthless. Admire him for his pig-headedness.]

  • Media darling...

  • A hitchslap of massive proportions.

  • Mother Turdresa

  • I agree. We really shouldn't need him to tell us this. It's a shame the media can't break out of the perceptions it's given us and correct itself. That would be far too controversial.

  • for every hitchens theres 1000 men sitting alone drinking scotch and talking to themselves

  • @Justen1980; Considering your religious fervor and eloquence don't be surprised if your mongoloid mother wishes she had yanked out her uterus before you were conceived that fateful day when she let your retard uncles gangbanged her and your sister until they puked blood, all over your grandma's asshole.

  • @Justen1980 I object to that. I drink gin.

  • Becasue hitchens is famous for his charitable work

  • @uur8 actually he has a foundation under his name for charity work. So what were you really trying to state, dumbass?

  • @LuisManuelLealDias the idea that you can look past there charity work and criticize just because of there religious beliefs. And im flattered that people would actually look at my old comments THANK YOU

  • Wow, booze really is his boost.

  • Look at that grin at 1:24. I've seen the cheeky smirks before but this may be the only time I've seen a hearty grin!

  • Great to see Chris smoking and drinking! He looks Beatiful! This is how i will always remember him!

  • christopher always does this - gives biased accounts of people and situations without looking at all the facts. Maybe he has, but he fails to give examples and can sound overwhelmingly biased in his pronouncements.

  • you know christopher, she and her followers took many dying people of the street and cared for them in their last hours. she made them feel loved. Now if this isn't a good thing,i don't know what is. Poverty and disease is horrible, but I think a lack of love and feeling noone cares for you is worse in many cases.

  • @DanGRtheMan

No she didnt. Teresa and her clinic didnt give them any proper medical care. The only thing teresa did was give people a bed to die in, and a very raggedy and uncomfortable one at that. Read the missionary position, it explains it all in great detail, and contrary to what you may think, it proves it by providing testimonys of other people who have visited her calcutta hellhole.

  • @dudesonman420 Hitchens made a vast amout of money from selling his book and making the television programme Did it ever come to your mind why Hitchens did not set up a hospital with the vast profits made. Hitchens and his cronies cared little about the poor in Calcutta, and reading the evidence of a hack writer like Mary Loudin and knowing Hitchins hatred for Catholics I choose not to believe what is in his book

  • @ballinora53

    How open-mindedly christian of you.

  • @dudesonman4200 That i because I do not spend my time reading Hitchins and mary Loudin, and as I said Hitchens cared little about the poor of Calcutta

  • @ballinora53

Ha. He cared more about them than Mother Teresa did I can guarantee you that. Perhaps this is why he has a charity made in his name, and he has made tons of donations to other charities. What you are biasely refusing to understand is that Mother Teresa purposefully wanted the poor to stay poor, and did not treat them at all when they were sick in her hospital. Seriously, just read the missionary position, I dont feel like summarizing the book in 500 characters here for you.

  • @dudesonman4200 Well I have not heard of the Hitchens Hospital for the poor i Calcutta, the only Charity Hitch gives to is the Charity called Johnny Walker Distillery, nothing else. Strange how your brave hero could bash an old Nun two years before she died and is afraid to go to Irag, Iran , and Saudi Arabia t make a film about the wide scale abuses there. If I wanted to read a book about MT I could find plenty books about her than to put mone n the pocket of Hitchens

  • @ballinora53

You sir are ridiculous. Hitch has been to all those places and countless others. Still, I think I understand your misunderstanding. The reasons for which Hitch is accusing MT of greed, lying, and general hypocrisy are not his opinions. All of these instances are well accounted for. If you dont want to buy the book, then watch Hells Angel on Utube for free. Afetr watching it, research the bits you find implausible.

  • @dudesonman4200 I did not see Hitch making a film about the Regmes in Iran Iraq and Saudi Arabia, he was afraid, easy to slander an old nun, when I talk about greed, lying and general hypocracy I think the finger should be pointed at Hitch. As for documentation elying on the word of a hack writer like Mary Lodin and some helpers(who were probably paid off any way is not evidence. Hitchins is an anti Catholic who supported the Mad war in Iraq and the Russian Revolution, so his pedegree is zilch

  • @ballinora53

You ignorance knows no limits. Excuse me, him and every other person for supporting a revolution which ousted a sinister monarchy. As for Iraq, you obviously are not familiar with Hussein. Of course he was innocent of 9/11, but he had only killed several hundred thousand innocent Kurdish people, and ruled Iraq with an iron fist for several decades, not to mention his invasion of Kuwait. But hey, if your fine with that.

Payed off?! Wow. Talking to you is a damn waste of my time.

  • @dudesonman4200 No doubt since it was so important and as we know about the Brave hero Hitchens volunteered to fight those infidels, of course not, better to end some poor farm boy to his grave instead, If Saddam was so bad why did the USA arm him in his war gainst Iran. The Russian revolution was responsible for the deaths of 20,000,000 people. of coure that is all right with ou and your brave hero Hitchens, about your remark about talking to me, the feeling is mutual

  • @ballinora53 "If Saddam was so bad why did the USA arm him in his war gainst Iran."

    Seriously? That's your argument?

"well, I know he committed genocide, but hey, the US helped arm him in that war against that OTHER insane regime, so he can't be all bad!"

uh, yeah, sure. I mean, it's not like the US might have been hoping that the result of that war would be both a weakened Iran and Iraq. nah, I can't see ANY reason why they'd want to create an opening there AT ALL!

  • 2) I mean, it's not like the US has EVER provided funding and support to insane regimes overseas in the hopes that they'll fight each other to a standstill. Ever. except all those times that they did.

But no, your version of events is much more likely, I concede. I'm sure Saddam was a great guy who was just TOTALLY misunderstood ;)

  • @ballinora53 Thank you. You are 100% correct.

  • Hitchens is curiously lacking in actual quotes of Mother Teresa and documented references to support his claims of what she did and believed.

  • @jzcp99 There are plenty of documentations of her belife that suffering is necessary and speeches where she compares abortion and birthcontrol to murder are on video.

  • I don't see Christopher Hitchens going out to care for the dying and destitute like Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa is a saint, Christopher Hitchens isn't. Even if we were to assume Mother Teresa was wrong in her belief and Hitchens is correct in his, Mother Teresa was a better person than Hitchens will ever be.

  • @jzcp99 no she wasnt many people she took could of been fixed easy she let them die in squallor

and wouldnt let them go to real hospitals she was a sadist

  • @jzcp99 You are absolutely correct. Hitchens was a narcissistic ass.

  • @PTSD101 Perhaps, But he was also right a lot of the time.

  • Christopher, you are so clever, so smart, so talented, so sensible and entertaining, but I wish that you'd left those damned cigarettes off your repetoire.

  • I thought Hitchens was pro-life? :s Unless he was talking about women having the right to have less kids if they want to..

  • @VoiceOfModeration he was talking about contraception, was he not? He's against abortion in most cases but not against condoms.

  • "i have no faith" - Mother Teresa (google it she actually said it)

  • @newyawker123 she may have had no faith but she certainly had religion.

  • @Ogrecoxy Faith is the underpinning ideal of religion. Without faith, there is no religion.

  • @newyawker123 Yes there is because religion has 2 purposes, 1. Control and 2. giving livelyhood to some

selfproclaimed experts that tells you that you are a sinner and we have experts that can help you for a prize.

Faith has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

  • I'm really shocked how most people are deluded of what Mother Teresa was!

And everything that Hitchens said is documented - but still most people prefer ignoring it!

The same happens with the Dalai Lama, Gandhi, Princess Diana, the Pope and almost everybody who is seen as a "good" Samaritan by the World!

This is just a rational example that we shouldn't trust (or at least be very suspicious) of these sort of people that are acclaimed by the media!

  • @luarionte You are shocked about the stupidity of people? really?

  • @luarionte What was wrong with Gandhi?

  • @1019079 Ghandi was a lawyer.

  • Comment removed

  • @luarionte

OK, all of them but the the Dalai Lama...don't bring him into that, i've studied him for a while.

  • @luarionte well yeah. while Gandhi, and marthin luther where great civil rights leaders, they where no demi gods like people like to paint them.

  • @luarionte - I agree with the Mother Teresa stuff. In what way are Gandhi, Princess Diana, the Pope similar, I am ignorant and would like to know if you please, thanks

  • @paulcorda

Gandhi for example was a pedophile

The current pope was in Hitlers youth group and nazi soldier

Princess Diana was a drug addict.

  • @sykeo123 Gandhi was not a pedophile. He was forced into child marriage as it was customary in those days in rural India and he had sex with his wife when she was 16 and he was 18. Having teen sex does NOT make you a pedophile! Get your facts straight before making YouTube comments.

  • @jackbliss

gandhi sure was a pedophile the words came straight from his brothers mouth ...

who didn't want to talk about it but felt lying would dishonor gandhi more

  • @sykeo123 i have never heard of gandi being a pedophile (he was married at age 13 to a 12 year old and that could hardly count as pedophilia if thats what ur thinking about) so i cant comment on the truth in it, as for diana, being a drug adict dont make u a bad person, it simply means u are adicted to some substances. and in nazi germany the hitler youth was mandatory. as for the nazi soldier thing, he once operated an AA gun, shoting at british plains bombing civilians and comiting was crimes.

  • @sykeo123 Our Pope was in a group that he didn't join, he was forced into it as ALL children in that region were at that time. Pope Benedict XVI is a great great man, let's not try to make him out to be something he never was.

  • @PTSD101

that is the excuse you make up for those capable to defend themselves but unwilling to do so?

  • @luarionte I think that's a bit unfair to Diana. Diana at least did good for the world, whatever her shortcomings (everyone has shortcomings after all) were. Mother Teresa however...

  • @luarionte True but I would give an exemption to ppl like Gandhi becoz they never tried to hide anything. In fact Gandhi poured every aspect of his life good and bad into his own autobiography 'My Experiments with Truth' and yes in his youth he was racist against blacks like many in his time but he learned in time how wrong it was. He always considered himself a normal human and hated the Mahatma title. He truly fought for India's independence with non-violence, sathyagraha, fasting, etc.

  • @jackbliss and ironically this was all possible because of his correspondence with tolstoy whose christian writings inspired him.

  • How incredibly decent of Hitchy, to tarnish the name of a dead woman who can't defend herself. Religious or otherwise, that's in poor taste. As for objectivity, impartiality and fair-mindedness, which he correctly distinguishes, he lacks absolutely all of those characteristics. It's a prejudiced analysis by someone who believes that Lenin's purge of the hundreds of thousands of Russians against the Bolsheviks was entirely necessary and a good think. Say no more...

  • @trixwiz7 Are you serious? You really think the old "dead person who can't defend themselves" justification is going fly here? Hate to break this to you kid, but some revelations are just too damned important to be left secret; even if it means tarnishing the name of a diminutive nun. Get your head out of the sand, and take in what's going on in your world. In other words....give a sh*t!!!

  • @trixwiz7 Oh yeah, all dead people were saints. Right dude, keep on deluding yourself.

  • @Murdulo Not all dead people are saints. But all dead people are entitled to some dignity

  • @trixwiz7 Dignity is earned in life. If those who are now dead once decided to trade dignity for delusion, power or fame, it was their call.

  • @Murdulo Well reasoned argument. I suppose if one wishes to be critical of Hitler or Stalin or whoever, then (with sufficient evidence) one may be critical of Mother Teresa as well. Having listened to what he has said I think one can feasibly argue Mother Teresa deserves some criticism, although one can also defend that point as well. But on the whole I think she was a good person

  • @trixwiz7 Well... she "helped" people die, offering them false, religious hope she didn't have proof of. That line is way too many times crossed by believers, and it's then when religion gets really harmful. The attention she got could have been good spent by creating hospitals and providing real medicine (the attending "nurses" at their places didn't even wash their hands). She made no effort to learn about treatment.

Maybe she thought she was helping: Doesn't change the fact she did harm.

  • It's very uncomfortable watching this man smoking and seemingly drunk talking to people all laughing at a woman who devoted her life to helping people. Definitely an easy target and I imagine this man was well paid. Very upsetting.

  • @modomnoc1 She didn't help people, she helped herself. Despite the fact that most of those under her care were near death, they still deserved a dignified death. But instead of giving these people pain killers or in some cases meds which may have extended lives, she allowed them to die slow, agonizing deaths. She hoped their suffering would bring her, and them, favor in the eyes of God. If you really think this was helping people; you have a warped sense of perception.

  • @modomnoc1 She helped people die with false hopes in the supernatural, instead of teaching them to be strong and to fight for life. Please explain to me, how is that helping?

  • "Religion is the enemy."That's a great truth,Mr. Hitchens.

  • WHO IS THIS GUY HITCHENS? WHOEVER, WHATEVER YOU ARE,I PITY YOU.YOU REPENT NOW WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME.GODBLESS
