1993 was probably the last year that really was the "olden days" to my generation. 1994 (and especially 1995) would provide the Internet/mobile revolution begin in earnest. Also, you don't see as many seif fonts (and practically NO HUMANIST SAN-SERIFS!) in commercials/anywhere compared to then, and that also makes me feel nostalgic. And sadly, todays commercials lack the inspiration that the older ones did. The Internet really did change everything.
