I have a 2000 LX470 (UZJ100) and it is a phenomenal offroad vehicle...that is why I bought it. Wanted Land Cruiser to replace my FJ60 after 26 years of service....wanted more comfort, V8, and good offroad use...found this one and dont regret at all. Already have 34 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers and rock sliders on her (took off running boards). Baja Rack, front and rear bumpers, and a couple pieces of armor underneath and call it good.one of the most capable offroad platforms in the world

Why does everyone have a problem with taking a lexus off road.. It has very good off road performance. Just because it costs 60,000 doesnt mean you cant have fun in it. Take Land Rover, some of them cost up to 100,000, yet they're one of the best off road SUV's out there. Luxury does'nt have to be boring. Ever they racing in a 2009 S600?? that car is over 110,000 but IT HAS SOME BALLS!!

i have a 2000 Lx 470 and have only offroaded it once. It just costs way too much money to muck up offroading.
