I remember this advert running on TV, and thought that it was really good - great scenery, friendly Aussies. Certainly made me think about visiting the country on day. Then I didn't see it for ages, never realised that it was pulled because of a few objections made about the swear words. What a shame.

It's quite sad that a lovely advert like this was banned because of sensitive Americans.

It's similar to the 'California: Find Yourself Here' adverts they run here in California (I don't know why - I've already been in California for 20 years), as it's sole purpose is to promote tourism.

Most Americans don't even have passports, though, so it probably would've been fruitless.

They should attempt to air this advert in California - I'm sure it'd be well-received. We're not so insular here!
