  • Nice work on the restore. If your HD6 is has a dry over-center style clutch, you may want get in the habit of idling down before disengaging and engaging the clutch. Less wear on the clutch and less stress on the transmission.

  • @mdgibbs31085 I wish it ha a decelerator pedal, then I would.. it does have the dry over-center clutch, and it's adjusted all the way, we have a replacement for it when the time comes that it slips

    thanks... the machine was in good condition to begin with so the restore wasn't much more involved than trimming some bent tin on the roof and giving it a coat or 3 of paint

  • NIce Old HD6, lots of push for the money on those Old Allis's.

  • @orangeind definitely.. a bit clunky to operate and the accuracy isn't great, but for a farm machine it's perfect
