It is, in fact, a masterful combination and a great re-working of both ...For me, though it's close, the crowning jewel is "A Perfect Love Gone Wrong" ...It is a a wonderful departure from the original that is much more enduringly memorable.

I think the concert was done a day after the 9-11, or even a few days later, since in the making of video they talk about what they will do. Sting though that they should not let the terrorists stop them, since this was exactly what the terrorists wanted. Anyways, very emotional, wonderful concert, this song in particular.

Good sting is a very particular musician, both bass, is a part of a style that seems to me to be interesting ... two bassist, go .. only sting!

Guys: we have hier a ordinary Bass (Christian McBride), the 'counterbass' and a violoncello (Jacques Morelenbaum), that is the ordinary 'bass' in the classical mode. But the functions of both instruments is most different in this case (and so in the other case too...). The Counterbass is most deep-sharp than the cello. The cello plays by bow and the bass with fingers. So, we have not two basses, but a cello and a bass.

I have the DVD of this show. It's entitled, "...all this time". It contains behind-the-scenes footage, including a round table discussion with all band members as to whether or not they should perform 9/11 after hearing the news of the terrorist attacks. They did the show. Sting opened with "Fragile". This is a great DVD.
