I'm going to phrase this in very polite language, suppressing my urge to vomit. Please learn to use a compass, and read a map. Please learn to take bearings, and back-bearings. And please use your orange trowel to bury your electronic devices at the trailhead, at a depth of about six inches.(Don't leave them in your car, as cars get broken into at trailheads.) Place them in a zip-lock bag, or two if you're nervous about moisture. You can fetch them when you return.
Here's what I noticed in your video: Each time the heading was addressed, on the ring in conjunction with the red line, the objective degree was never explained, as to how you arrived at it. Nor was -N- brought up relative to one's original position. I've learned to use a topal in conjunction with Magnetic North to begin with.
n 1908 sally ruse died looking for her dog. a ghost came and killed her. In 30 minutes you'll find a bloody ghost in your closet. it will kill your family. if you put this in 6 videos in 30 minutes you will be safe
Not a bad explanation on how to use your gps and compass together to find your way around the backcountry. Initially I wasn't impressed but as the video progressed the detail and simplicity made it all worth watching in addition to the rest of the videos. Thanks a bunch.

At the start set a waypoint and save it. To return to the waypoint just locate it in the menu and select "go to".
