Les, this piece is extraordinarily beautiful. Is that in DADGAD? Your McIroy guitar is perfectly suited to your sound. Never played one but would sure like to. Always thought when I was ready to buy my dream guitar it would be a F25 lowden but I'm not sure now. Thanks, Ray

Thanks for your comment, Ray. The McIlroys are pretty special guitars. What really impresses me about them is their versatility. From Blues to alternate tuned Celtic, they always sound great!

I know man! I lot's happened since then I can tell you! Funny you mention the Lowden, I got it by trading in the Yamaha I won and the martin I was playing at the competition. 2 for 1, bargain!! Hi Michael, Really good to hear from you. Can you believe that the finals were over eight years ago?! The guitar in the videos is a McIlroy and the Gretsch that I won was sold to buy an acoustic amp! ah its my old mate les,this guy used to teach me i went to les for lessons for 4 years,les is a top man makes a nice cup of tea aswell hahaha his knowlege of music is second to none,highly recomended,dont know if you remember me les im rob i had a white ibanez jem555,you used to teach me van halen,whitesnake etc,ive still got the 555,but now ive got a jem777vbk 1990 model,thanks for all the lessons les your a top man
