  • He's gonna love Kenny Britt in Tennessee.

  • 4:22 the stadium went crazy as he was running free. makes me proud to be a dawg

  • He is Fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 TD's against the Falcons today!!! Go Locker!!

  • he's pretty good:)

  • Lockers a fucking beast!

  • why doesnt tennessee play him smdh quit wastin our time tennessee!

  • Tdawg, Next project Chris Polk career highlights.

  • @bigdonnie510 i think you mean underrated

  • just imagine him in navys or georgia tech's option attack. wow.

  • good to see marcel reece doing well for the raiders. had some good moments with jake in some bad years.

  • I think tennessee should let him start over hasselback

  • i dont see how he was worthy of 8th overall

  • 3:26. Nuff said.

  • Hope this guy turns out to be the next Mike Vick! Minus the animal abusing though. lol

  • As someone who is a Washington Husky fan, I know that Jake really is a "first in, last out", clean living, multi-talented, but humble quarterback. He has a tremendous desire to win. The Titans have suddenly gone from completely off my radar, to become my 2nd favorite team in the NFL.

  • Most overrated QB ever.

  • @bigdonnie510 jake locker overrated? hahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha

  • @jesseclifton no jake locker is a bad ass

  • if washington didnt have jake locker they would probs when 1-2 games year....he leads this team so much its rediculous

  • didnt evan watch the whole video was a long ass video

  • like a tim tebow but right handed

  • Thank you Steve Sarkisian for fixing the damage done to Jake under Tyrone Willingham. The man now has pocket presence to go with his insanely explosive speed and power.

  • @1mediaguy lol were you watching the same Jake locker as the rest of the country?? He was horrible against any real opponent

  • @bigdonnie510 ...riiiight...tell that to USC and Nebraska. Chump.

  • Fuck you titans!! he shud be a seahawk and everybody knows it!!! :'(

  • @willy2535 Keep cryin' about it.

  • Nice compilation, TDawg. Gonna miss Montlake Jake on Saturdays.

  • plays like a 2010-2011 michael vick , welcome to the titans

  • Can't wait to use this guy on madden 12. Titans forever!

  • I work at the Coeur d' Alene resort golf course and I caddied for Jake yesterday! He is such a cool down to earth guy and I have the utmost respect for him. He is a gentleman and an amazing athlete. I wish nothing but the best for him.

  • @jonhaueter

forgot to put your name on there comment is below.

  • oh theres no doubt about that hes the best QB in the draft and to think he had a terrible offensive line with the huskies and shitty receivers and yet still performed damn good. just saying we could have used fairley and still picked up andy dalton in the next round but yeah im fucking stoked to watch this year and see what happens.

theyre also saying we might pick up hassleback as the veteran qb, who can also teach locker the drills and plays

  • jake locker is going to take my titans all the way

  • @jonhaueter

dude thats what ive been saying we a damn passer shouldve just taken defensive players and set out to try and get andrew luck next year thennnnn we would have the baddest fucking team in the decade

  • @flatheadcats In order for that to happen, the titans would have to have the worst record next season.. quite frankly i would rather them draft a project QB then blow a whole season to draft someone next year. People forget that Locker was a top prospect a year ago on one of the shittiest teams in College.

  • too much running! in tennessee we need a thrower

  • @jonhaueter hahah he's better at throwing than running, hes to good for the titans

  • @jonhaueter Funny! Tell that to Chris Johnson! Jake is going to completely open the game for the Titans. Defenses will be wondering which back to key on: RB, or QB?

  • @1mediaguy hmmmm..... that sounds vaguely familiar, oh yeah cuz thats what everyone said vince young would do, and look how that turned out.

  • go to raiders

  • can ANYONE tell me the name of this song please ??

  • @zizo12qb Artist: Jet

    Buy "Get What You Need"

  • He reminds me a lot of Tim Tebow not in personality but in play.

  • um hes good qb an all tht he could throw but hes not the most accurate u can complain if u want my opinion

  • i was hoping he was a passing QB...is this the white version of VY...com'on TN you coulda wasted 1st round pick on something better.

  • he played for washington! idiots...he will be good, quick release and throw power...titans have an awesome o-line and we got CJ...locker is better than VY...yall can say what yall want but wait till football season. Titans are only going to get better baby.

  • this guy is having no chance aganist the colts

  • this kid will have great success in the nfl but ponder will be the best rookie

  • This kid is one hell of an athlete. With some coaching and a decent o-line, I can see him being a big playmaker in the future.

  • I really do like this kid the way he's looking just cut down on the running and he looks super legit.

  • just work on pocket pressence and his arm accuracy and lockers got a big chance. kinda wish we wouldve picked up fairley though then picked up dalton or mallet in the next round then we would have akeem ayers to get but him still curious to see what happens with locker.

  • He's one of the fastest white quarterback to play in the NFL. This guy can really separate from defenders. He's got an exceptional arm and the drive to be the best. The Tennessee Titans are my team and this guy could be special.

  • Does This Kid Ever Pass in the pocket lol... He's A Good Runner, but thats not gonna happen for him in the NFL WIth all The Great 3-4 Defenses In The League, and he wont be breaking that many tackles in the NFL Either unless his Mike Vick and he's Not lol.....Im A Titan Fan and i Dont Understand This Pick In This 1st Round. You DOnt Pic Someone that high and sit him for a couple of years. I Thought we hAd A Great Draft except for this Pick

  • @TheStevenAguirre im a titans fan too but im going to just wait and see wat happens

  • @TheStevenAguirre hes not comfortable in the pocket because his line collapses after 1 or 2 seconds and leaves him running for his life lol. you'll be happy with the pick once you see him play for the titans.

  • @TheStevenAguirre hehehehe i said the same thing about him. Looks like he would make a nice RB instead of a QB lol

  • welcome to Tennessee,Jake

i hope you have many years of success here.if you last here a decade like Mcnair and have similar success i think we will be some pretty happy fans.

  • As someone who watched Jake in his whole college career, I can say that he is not someone who'll be hanging out in bars. Instead he'll be in the film room figuring out how he can put the hurt on the Titans next opponent. He's definately a throwback type player with all the tools-arm, speed, quickness, strenght and mental toughness. Munchak knew what he was doing when he took Jake. Plus Jake is just like a good ole southern guy who happened to grow up in the Northwest.

  • Maybe Washington had a terrible O line or something, but this guy performs more like a TE instead of a real QB. He better learn how to throw more downs because he won't last against GB, the Lions and the Bears always running like that. He'll be on IR within the first 2 months of the season. Suh, Fairley, Matthews and Peppers will crush him.

  • @backnthedaydawg Jake Locker = Titan, not Viking. But a reasonable point anyhow.

  • Holy shit, is it just me or is that Kearse guy the only UW player Locker throws to? I hope he goes NFL too

  • Jake Locker: Meet Dwight Freeney & Robert Mathis! Go Colts!

  • Welcome to Tennesse, Jake!

  • @UzumakiLegendify yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • He belongs in Seattle.

  • you know, in a division with Super Mario and Freeney, it's actually really smart to get a QB who can move. I'm sure that was a factor in picking Locker over Gabbert.

  • That effort at 12:00 says a lot about this guy.

  • check out the laser thrown back across his body while in a sprint out to his right. No one in the NFL can make a throw like this one @ 3:01

  • Titans are going to love Locker because of plays like the one at 4:55

  • Willingham was going to get Locker killed, never developed him as a passer. His arm has really only been worked on his last two years with Sarkisian

  • he's such a dirty runner. nobody in Tennessee is ggonna miss VY.

  • Locker started the first 4 games in 2008, getting hurt in the 4th against Stanford. It was 4 of the toughest opponents on the schedule that year; Oregon, BYU, Oklahoma, and Stanford. Almost pulled off a victory over BYU. Locker completed about 54% of his passes for 512 yards, 1 passing touchdown and 3 rushing touchdowns.

  • check out the awesome blocking at 2:12

  • hopefully if he gets the number 10 he can redeem it from what vince young did to it, lol

  • @mcallaha1 Black guys make the best NFL QBs!!

  • @Killerdoctor27 Really, then why have only one won a superbowl ever

  • @mcallaha1 Cuz the white owners keep them down!!!

  • what people don't know is that he played the majority of the season with injured ribs....which makes a huge difference, especially for QB's....shows you how tough Locker is....he's for real

  • Don't worry folks. Since the Panthers took Cam Newton at #1... no one will be a bigger bust than him.

  • One of the reasons the Huskies went 0-12 in 2008 is that Jake only played the first few games and was out for the rest of that season. He alone would turned about 3 of those losses into wins. He has played during the worst stretch of UW football in history. He has been like a bright light in a dark night. Put a good team around him and I think you Titans will be VERY happy with your draft pick. In time your city will love him as much as we do in Seattle. He is a great yet humble warrior....

  • As a long time Dawg fan all I can is this.....in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid there is a scene where some geezer puts up some cans and says "let's see how good ya are Kid" and the Kid fires and misses. The geezer spits in the ground, laughs, and while he is walking away the Kid says "can I move?" and then while moving hits every single can. Yes, Jake needs some work as a pocket passer, but when is he is no the move he is deadly. Not to mention he is FAST, strong, and a great leader. WOOF!

  • are there any highlights from the 0-12 season? or did he play then i cant remember

  • there is something that tells me The Titans are gonna have the last laugh with this guy

  • Search Jake Locker Rihanna haha

  • Go Titans. Why are all of the highlights of him running? fuckin beast.

  • WOW both him and VY wear number 10 time for a quickening.

    "There can only be ONE!!!!"

I Like what i see from the HuRt Locker. hope that name sticks for a good reason

  • @blackrobakarlt The Hurt Locker I like!!! good call man he just gave me a reason to watch Titans games when there not playing the Raiders.

  • WOW both him and VY wear number 10 time for a quickening.

    "There can only be ONE!!!!"

  • About 80% of this video is him running or throwing dump off passes. Tennessee's last quarterback could do that, I just want to know how well this guy can pass the ball!

  • @cafiwam the first half of the video is of his first 2 years when he was a run first QB.

  • @cafiwam My guess is he'll be the biggest NFL bust of this decade!! He's EXTREMELY overrated! Check how his stats look compared to freshman Jake Heaps of BYU (who's team had the same record as Locker's last year)

    Jake Locker SENIOR season: 184/332 (55.4%) 2,265 yards, 17 TD's, 9 INT's

    Jake Heaps FRESHMAN season: 219/383 (57.2%) 2,316 yards, 15 TD's 9 INT's

Tennessee made a huge mistake in picking him over Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder, Ryan Mallett, Andy Dalton and even Greg Mcelroy

  • @Billygizzle08 man thats what ive been thinking this whole time they wouldve been better to pick ryan mallet or kaepernick im always behind my team but that was one of the dumbest picks ive ever seen the titans make. not only is he overrated but also the way he trys to run like that hes going to end up getting himself hurt becuase hes too slow and that running all ove the place crap might work in college but not in the nfl except for like vick.

  • @Billygizzle08 A little early to picking the biggest daft bust of the decade isn't it? I'm not going to pass judgment on this guy until I see him in a professional football setting and see if he can win games. Most bust come from guys who don't work hard (Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell) and from what I've heard this guy had an excellent work ethic. We'll see how he does.

  • @cafiwam Fair enough.. he has the most potential of anyone I've seen I'n the last 10 or 15 years to be an NFL bust. Good work ethic or not, if you don't have what it takes and you don't have the skillset needed to be a successful professional football player, you will be benched. That's if you make the depth chart. In no way, shape or form is Locker skilled enough to start over Vince Young

  • @Billygizzle08 I agree he's not skilled enough to start over Vince (if Vince stays with the Titans) right now. But later? Who knows. With Vince you have to deal with his immaturity factor and his inconsistencies. Comparing raw talent, Vince beats Locker hands down, but unless Vince changes his attitude towards football he'll never reach his potential and eventually Locker will have the chance to surpass him.

  • @cafiwam Did you just compare Vince Young's immaturity factor and inconsistency to Locker's? Locker had an entire college career of inconsistency and had the perpetuation to win. In his college career Locker boasts a whopping 16-34 record as s starter. And they expect him to be a winner in the toughest level of football known to man? I just don't see that happening at all.

  • @Billygizzle08 it takes a team to win games.

  • @Billygizzle08 I'm not making the claim that Locker is going to be a huge success in the NFL. I'm just saying Vince Young is not the Titan's future. Whether or not Locker is that future or not has yet to be seen and I'm not going to judge him until I actually see him play in the NFL.

  • @Billygizzle08 Vince is gone!! they have already said it multiple times......

  • @Billygizzle08 In no way shape or form eh? Well, I know one thing, Locker has a better mentality than Young...

  • @Alexlsonflre Better mentality or not, he isn't as gifted 1.) as an athlete, 2.) as a passer or 3.) as a game changer..Locker will be the 2nd QB on the Titans roster as long as Young is still there. Again, if the Titans wanted to take a QB that early they would have been better off if they had chosen either Blaine Gabbert, Ryan Mallett, Andy Dalton or even Greg Mcelroy.

  • @Billygizzle08 Yeah, VY really put up them passing numbers. It's impossible to compare or even predict what someone coming into the NFL can do. You lose quite a bit of credibility even thinking McElroy is good, look at the team he had...he was carried. You basically trashing Locker because he put up pretty decent stats in college with a team that hindered his ability.

  • @Alexlsonflre It's impossible to predict what he'll will do in the NFL? You said that his team (that went 7-6) hindered his ability. Well now he's joining a team (at a totally superior level of FB) that went 6-10 last year. Don't you think his ability will be even more hindered in the pros?

And I simply think McElroy will have more success in NFL b/c of his familiarity under center, as well as his accuracy, passion & smarts

Again, the Titans could've picked a better QB at the # 9 overall pick

  • @Billygizzle08 He's joining a team that weny 6-10, correct. But WHY did they go 6-10? Because they had no QB. VY? Well, we know what happened. Collins? Old. Rust Smith? Too many problems to list. Any QB going into the Titans situation from an offensive standpoint has the tools to win. Great RB, pretty decent O-Line, and some solid WR's. That 6-10 record? It was a mix of the defense self destructing, and the QB issue not being able to have clock management, leaving the defense on hte field.

  • @Alexlsonflre Jake Locker won't resolve the Titan's problems. He probably will hinder their QB production if anything. Again, I bet anything Blaine Gabbert, Andy Dalton, and Ryan Mallett will find more success in the NFL than Locker. Hell, Greg McElroy will probably have more success in the NFL than Locker and he was drafted in the 7th round!!!

  • @Billygizzle08 Locker had plenty of familiarity under center. He was in a pro style offense 09-10. Believe me. i watched every one of his games. So I know what Im talking about

  • @DJKersh Okay even if he did have familiarity under center he had a piss poor completion percentage and he had a way to much inconsistency

  • @Billygizzle08 You know nothing about football. Watch him play..He has no Oline, No WR's and the QB b4 him completed 45% of his passes...Look at guys like Jay Cutler 57% in college ...Or Favre who was in the 40's!!

  • @Dudeikas Ok you named 2 successful QB's out of countless who have tried and failed to be a success in the NFL with such a low college football profile. We'll see how Locker pans out. All signs are pointing toward him being a tremendous waste of a top 10 or ever 1st round draft pick.

  • @Billygizzle08 brett favre? He had a low rating in college and last time I checked he won a superbowl. Also how many good QB's have there been drafted that were great in college but didn't do crap in the NFL? Vince Young, Matt Leinart, Jamarcus Russell and that's only three. If you want me to name more just ask or better yet I can email you list.

  • @rebelmose You have a point with a just a hand full of players but look at some of the best QB's in the NFL like Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers etc. All but one of these guys (Rivers) have won the Super Bowl, all ranked tops in the NFL in QB ratings last year and all of them had great college careers. And you'll have this more often than you'll have a mediocre college QB make a difference in the NFL.

  • no other qb has a defensive tackle in his grill every other play on his HIGLHIGHT REEL. He will be the only qb where he might actually have more time to throw in the nfl.

  • ill admit, i hate the pick but if you win jake, you good with me. go titans!!

  • Let's hope the calls of him being an Anti-VY are right. I see a bright future ahead for this kid! Coach Munchak said he's going to look for a veteran free agent QB to add to the roster, so not too much pressure on him to perform.

  • guess im watching tennessee now

  • Man Hopin He would go to my home team the seahawks but oh well cant always get what u want

  • start him now

  • welcome to the titans. I hope he is better than Vince Young we need a good QB and Maybe this is the one we been looking for good luck man

  • Jake Locker will be the biggest NFL bust of this decade!!

  • Vince Young is WAY better

  • man this guy is not going to be a good QB for the titans

  • TITANS NIGGAS

  • "Please be better than Vince Young..."

I watched every one of Locker's college games. He suffered from a poor offensive line, poor running game, average receivers, and virtually no tight end for most of his career. He was also learning a lot of what many QB's learned years ago with their private coaches.

Will he be good? Only time will tell, but the Titans drafted a guy whose character, leadership, and work ethic are second to none, which is already better than Young, no?

  • Isnt it ironic Jake Locker wears #10 and Tennessee is about to have a empty spot for the #10? hahahaah

  • Welcome to the Titans!!!!!

  • Please be better than Vince Young...

  • Tennessee, you got yourself a winner.

  • is this a runningback highlight reel??? I love Locker... and I wont have to throw away my young jersey just duct tape the name

  • i was shocked, his accuracy scares me,

but i love his work ethic

    welcome to Tennessee baby

  • Hey a QB who can throw and run.....this is something the Titans haven't had since McNair left

  • WELCOME TO TENNESSEE BABY

  • @PoRkChOpz4444 thats right

  • @PoRkChOpz4444 damn skippy

  • @PoRkChOpz4444 i couldnt beliave it at first!

  • Welcome to the titans

  • titans!

  • great back side shoulder throw to the receiver, really accurate throw that would not be completed if he threw it in front of the receiver @ 8:02

  • another thing you might notice is how many of these completions are contested with a defensive back within a yard or less of the receiver? He hardly ever threw to a wide open receiver. Do you think that might have contributed to a low completion percentage?

  • NFL caliber throws @0:21, 0:42, 1:09, 1:27, 2:08, 2:55, 3:00, 3:48, 3:55, 4:01, 4:07, 4:37, 4:46, 4:55, 5:07, 5:15, 5:23, 5:35, 5:42, 5:49, 5:59, 6:04, 6:22, 6:29... is this impressive yet? I'm only a 1/3 of the way through this highlight film?

  • @rochabp yea he reminds of brett im grinning ear to ear rite now as a vikings fan im with jeremyownsa if we dont draft him i will be highly upset damn the o line well get it together we got money + we need help in the secondary as well we need to get nmamdi asomugha

  • future viking hall of famer

  • Comment removed

  • @jlee2025 thank you! I was gonna say the same thing, Basically took it word for word.

  • @jeremy ow nsa i agree, but its tough cause weve got so many holes; offensive tackle, d-end, d-tackle, wide reciever, conerback, safty, center, gaurd, quarterback but we still have All Day, P-Diddy (percy harvin), Jared Allen, Kevin Williams, Antoine Winfield, steve hutchinson, ej henderson, chad greenway, and up and coming stars like jasper brinkley, usain abdullah, TOBY GERHART, and brian robison....also i think if cedric griffen can stay healthy for a while he could be a huge asset..

  • As In Jake, Not CamVVVVVV

  • I still don't understand why Cam Newton is considered the best QB in this draft. He's definitely a great athlete, but not really an NFL QB. He's Vince Young part 2, without some of the explosiveness. I really hope he'll slide to the Dolphins @ 15! I would take him in a second, forget mark ingram, we need a Franchise QB. First things first.!

  • can someone say brett farve?

....this guy looks alot like farve did in college he just needs that number 4 on his chest

  • @Rochabp Arm strength...yea....but Brett never had this kind of mobility....Locker reminds me more of Aaron Rodgers

  • @MrIncr3d1ble maybe not in speed but farve could move around in his younger days. Also both of these guys just make plays outside the pocket

  • please mike reinfeldt the titans need him. i dont know if 8 overall is too high but we really need a qb and this is the best one in the draft

  • @xXxMatt32WeemsxXX way to say exactly what that rogue scout said. Quotations please?

  • lets be honest he is an amazing scrambler. However he does not have NFL accuracy which is the #1 factor when taking a quarterback. My opinion but he is a 3rd round project with a big upside if he can improve his accuracy.

  • Brett Favre went in the second round, right? If you look at their college stats, Favre and Locker are practically identical. This guy moves like Favre, scrambles like Favre, throws like Favre. Pretend he has the number four on his jersey. His release is a lot like Favre, too. ---- Just Saying... Jake Locker is getting some pretty nice compliments.

  • i know its a lil early in the draft but i think he would be a nice pickup 4 the titans

  • I think the Redskins will move back from Pick 10 and grab him late in the first round.

  • @cgill69 If we want him then we better take him at 10. No way he makes it past the Vikings and the Dolphins.

  • @eg2crx - I am beginning to agree with you. I think he is worth it. We need a franchise QB.

  • Jake will be one of the best ever to play in the NFL!

  • steve young!!!! bengals got to take this boy

  • he's a right handed version of steve young

  • i think with jim harbaugh coaching the 49ers now, locker would be a great fit there. cut smith and draft locker...alot of our headache is gone

  • man its so hard to choose between mallet and locker, i love locker hes a home town boy and he brings physical presence to the qb posistion. but mallet i think will right away start winning games like flaco sanchez ryan bradford and even rogers.

  • white version of micheal vick.. scrambles too much needs to throw some catches.

  • cant wait till the seahawks grab him or mallet!

  • my point being... how often did Locker throw to a wide open receiver? hardly ever...

  • Almost all these throws, the 55% he did complete, were thrown to receivers with defensive backs smothering the receiver. are you sure he has accuracy problems?

  • They tell a quarterback never to throw back across your body when you're on the run because you can't get enough velocity on the ball and it becomes a prime opportunity for an interception, but at 3:01 Locker shows he's the exception to that rule.
