It's hard to adopt a dog in the middle of such craziness, and I wish more troops would save animals there and bring them back, but I understand it is difficult and I don't blame them. They are doing a great service, and it's good enough for me that some of them rescue a helpless dog here and there. I just don't understand the pricks who would stab dogs or throw them off a f*cking cliff. Oh well, good and bad..

It's kinda harsh that he was told to get rid of it or else... I'd for when I go out to find a dog and bring it home. Beats being in the heat with no food or water! They should at least say it's acceptable to take the dog home but say the responsibility is on you rather than saying it's not allowed!

Aww he's just loven life, no more living on the streets, eating trash, fighting for food, fleas, worms, cruelty. Just a loving family, clean food & water, soft warm places too sleep, go outside parasite free. Nubs wanted to be loved by humans, he didn't want too be a wolf anymore!

How can people be so cruel to helpless animals..God put them here for us, to help and to love us when no one else does. God knew what he was doing from the start!

Every living creature should be respected...in the bible it says that we should have regards and care for all his creation. This was a wonderful touching story. God bless this man and his pet!

I first read the book about Nubs on my cat's visit to her doctor and I found myself crying in the middle of the story, and I am crying again while I am watching this. Wonderful love story between a man and a dog. =)

I've wondered why they haven't changed some laws. It's been proven that these dogs basically keep those people human while they're in that situation, so why is it against laws to have them there?

This is a great story. These dogs are important to those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is nothing like a bond these animals have for those who serve in a war zone to where those that serve in the warzones see death, and trauma on a daily basis. By adopting these animals, it helps relieve a lot of the stress that those serving seeing every day. Thank God for organizations like Baghdad pups.
