@stratobagster It's not nearly as easy as it sounds. In my experience, it can actually be much more difficult to play at these extremely slow tempo's than it is to play fast. Your timing has to be absolutely spot on, because there is a constant tendency to come in too early on a beat.

@choctulips And I doubt the band themselves are 'into' it in that way. I suspect they are using esoteric symbols in a more blasphemous manner than to be lauding them. I can't think of anything more 'doom' than the mason laughing in the uninitiated's face for not knowing the meaning of these symbols, as they parade them all around you and hide them in plain sight while you have no idea their order hides from you the truth about your own slavery. I saw these at Roadburn last year. Monolithic.

@choctulips personally i'm not bothered by it either way as i just don't buy the "illuminati" theories.. that said just because a symbol is being used doesn't mean it's being used positively. bands like this don't generally throw that sort of thing around unless it's being used in a satirical way. i'de suspect it's being used to make a statement on a political level rather than actually support free masonry.
