  • The main purpose of exercise is to slow down the effects of aging. If you don't think so, wait until you get older, or have a serious injury or condition that interferes with your daily living. Do you think an 80 year old person, who can't move, gives a damn about having skinny legs? Of course not. If you want to work hard on your leg muscles, to make them bigger, be my guest, but comments about other peoples legs is juvenile. Maybe their fitness goals are different than yours.

  • your back looks like an asshole

  • @metalheadjay666 That's better than being one.

  • Omg, you have tiny legs dude!

  • @1993Swedish You are a peanut brained idiot.

  • Scrawny legs bro.... gotta do your squats.

  • @StarCraftiNator You are a peanut brained idiot.

  • This is my favorite exercise of all time.

  • does anybody want to fuck him?

  • LOOK THOSE SMALL LEGS :D :D :D

  • @InsaneShaman You are a peanut brained idiot

  • why does he always have a boner..

  • Thank you very much for teaching how to do this excercise!!!

  • he some inda looks like sean farris

  • Back Hurts like Hell

  • U do lean in on this exercise he's doing it wrong in my book. U want to lean in on negative to stretch the lats at end of movement. U are leaning back and squeezing. Plus this movement is meant to be explosive the slower u do it the more u bring ur arms into it.

  • @ediot6969 Leaning forward doesnt stretch the Lat it strtches your shoulder if you concentrate you can strtch your lat (and feel it stretch) upright try it

  • Is this a good exercise for the lower back? I have lower back injuries. It's been 6 months since my accident. I started going back to the gym today and tried the back extension machine with weights. My back is in pain! The seated row does not cause me pain I just can't tell if it's strengthening my lower back.

  • @ThePantyDroper

Seated rows are for rhomboids, lats and biceps (biceps as second muslce group). For lower back Hyperextensions are great. Deadlifts aswell, alhough there are alot harder to do.

  • @MastahMich If I did hyper extensions I would be in severe pain. Deadlifts I can't do either. The bar alone is too heavy for my back. I was thinking either squats or deadlifts with a medicine ball?

  • @ThePantyDroper

Try Dumbbell Deadlifts or maybe Good Mornings?

  • @ThePantyDroper I have a bad lower back also and there's really nothing you could do. I'd say try the back extension without weights and maybe try for higher reps.

  • @Joeyyowe You mean the back extension machine? That caused me a ton of pain, I did my research online and this machine is actually bad for you. It's no different than lifting a heavy object with your back. I'm finding the lateral pull and squats with a 16 lb medicine ball have really helped this past week. That combined with an ab workout my pain has noticably decreased. I'll be seeing a kinesiologist tomorrow to learn more lower back workouts at the gym

  • @ThePantyDroper There's really nothing else you could do then. You could try deadlifting, but if back extensions hurt your lower back I'm sure deads will as well.

  • @Joeyyowe i can't do dead lifts because of my wrist. I was in a car accident and my wrist back and knee were injured. Holding any type of free weight causes my wrist pain. Cable and fixd machines only, medicine balls with a handle are ok. Saw my kinesiologist today and she gave me a bunch of work outs. Hip raises with leg extensions, back extension while lying on my stomache. Supermans. a few exercises involving a step. She said squats would be the best exercise for lower back.

  • @ThePantyDroper Get a massage at least once a month and stretch your muscles once they're warmed up, not cold.

  • @mennojane I use a heat pad for 10 mins before stretching, helps a lot especially with my knee. But the massage is no longer effective. I use to go every 2 weeks for 6 months but it doesn't do much anymore. I've been working on strengething my core, seems to be taking the load off my lower back.

  • this ex is toper name plees send me

    ok ANJUM NAVEED FROM PAKISTAN

    IN BAHOO GYM

  • wait so you don't lean in? i thought you were supposed to lean in on the negative

  • neutral spine my ass thats straight up lumbar curve

  • Is it okay if I feel this exercise a bit above my buttocks, like the lowest part of my back, or am I possibly doing something wrong?

  • bullshit,and yor wrong!

  • question...i find that when im doing heavy weight in this exercise..i lean forward a bit and use upperbody momentum..i know its bad...is this normal for everyone??

  • @wopchop99

    no

  • @valkyrie9002 ok.....can you elaborate?

  • @wopchop99 what i should have said was...I only do that when im pulling my near max for like 8 reps..and by the last 2 reps i cheat a bit..who else does this?

  • @wopchop99

lower the weight and use good form

  • thats some fancy ass gym equipment right there my gym might as well be a crack den compared to this

  • fuck u

  • This is my all time favoraite exercisce for back after pullups :)

  • What are the weight increments on these machiens usually?

  • this guy could probably walk into a club and fuck every girl in there with no problem

  • i love you

  • my eyes are drawn to your pecks

  • I seen loads of people do this as if they are on a proper rowing machine

  • nice tits

  • scott, please don't get shorter shorts

  • @imdavid123... But he has such nice legs!

  • i pressed the wrong button, I dont dislike this video i like it!! oops...

  • Not trying to be a hater but inhalation is coupled with pulling ,extension ,abduction and external rotation. Need to inhale on the pull - just watch what your sternum does when you inhale and and exhale and this should tip you off. 99% of people exhale on pulling movements which is incorrect. You want to create intra-abdominal pressure so the diagphram anchors the spine.

  • Good video! Il put it to work!

  • I always end up hurting myself when returning the weight (when I finish my set).

  • it seems you like to show your back when you flex more than to show the technique...

  • wow nice body men. i must train hard for body like this.

  • Man, you are doing all exersices a bit wrong :D

  • what is the different between close grip and wide grip?

  • @0sys0

It depends on wich musclegroup you want to emphasize. However, a close grip bar is less beneficial than a shoulderwith grip. The wider the grip becomes, the excercise will emphasize upper back more and lats less, just because you´ll have to put your elbows further from the body. But thats just a variation.

  • His back is overextended. The back should be straight and the spine in neutral alignment.

  • Did anyone notice his calves? haha

  • @dembumboclot haha never noticed that before

  • if your tensing your biceps to pull the weight towards the chest, then you are performing the exercise wrong... think of it as pulling the elbows backwards.. then more tension is on the back muscles

  • is this for the back or lats? pls answer =)

  • @Kogler02

    Its for both.

  • @Kogler02 The Latissimus dorsi (a.k.a. "lats") is a muscle group situated on your "back". So this exercise works on your lats which in a way is your "back". Your "back" consists of several other muscle groups such as the Rhomboids, Trapezius, Teres Major/Minor and etc, but the "Lats" is the biggest muscle group on your back.

  • What does he mean come out to 90 degrees? 90 degress in relation to what?

  • @miltonsorangestapler - your elbows should be into the body and your arms should be bent to aproximately 90 degrees(when flexed, not when extended as he says)

  • wtf is wrong with you people. you post a video on how to do it idiots. rofl ugly fuckin fat nerds talkinshit

  • I had to watch about 10 videos of people doing the low row wrong to finally get here to see someone do it right!

  • @hellzblade44 If you already know how to do it right then why do you watch a bunch of videos on rowing?

  • Holy chicken legs batman! Looks like somebody doesn't train legs, shame on you man, shame on you.

  • @MrDreadedbwoy and you have the right to talk why?

  • you seeing anyone?

  • look how he puts the weight back he could hurt his back bending it like that.

  • @charlrogers1990 you are 20 years old, you arent even old enough to use steroids yet, how do you know its 'unbelievably' bad and 'irreversable' do you even have any idea what your talking about?

    Bro science doesnt count mate.

  • @charlrogers1990 I agree with you that he is doing it wrong, he should have lean forward to stretch the lats, otherwise he is just training his inner back.

  • Comment removed

  • wow you can see the shape of his peen lol. and the head shape :)

  • @marudell FAG

  • Whoever is filming this should probably stick to something basic like cooking.

  • finally someone who is not on steroids. nice physique dude

  • @aekalexi12345677 douche reaction, how are you sure he is not on steroids? And what does it matter if someone is? aslong as he/she shows you the correct way to perform an excercise.

  • @aekalexi12345677 How do you know he doesn't take steroids. Are you his boyfriend or what?

  • @SteveSmith26 dude clearly you are dumb if he is taking steroid he would double af he is now...and plus you can see clear skin nice muscles not deformed ones like roids user have

  • @DuDe1040 You are the fucking dumbass if you think only huge bodybuilders take steroids. There is no way to know if someone takes steroids or not. I could take tons of steroids and still be smaller than that guy and nobody would know. I am not accusing him of roiding, it's just that I am sick of fags saying : "oh hes a natural" while they don't even know the guy personally.

  • what makes you think he isn't on sterroids? Just because he doesn't weight 250lbs doesn't mean he's not juicing. People take roids such as winnie to get cut too.

  • @aekalexi12345677 there's nothing wrong with a little help..

  • @aekalexi12345677 just because some people have different goals than others, doesnt mean people who gain a lot of muscle are on steroids... anyway ur prolly just jealous and insecure, its ok

  • @aekalexi12345677 check out tuan tran

  • @aekalexi12345677

    >Implying you can tell if somebody did steroids from youtube video

  • @aekalexi12345677

How do you know he is not on steroids?

Yes his physique is not extreme, but there are people who use steroids and look like they dont train at all.

The point is you cant tell if someone is on steroids by looking at them (except for some mass freaks of course)

  • @Sniegel It's impossible to say whether someone uses a drug unless if they show the signs of using that drug. So you could claim that Scott smokes a gram of weed a day and I couldn't disprove you.

Really the best thing to say is that he looks legit, and likely does not use steroids.

  • @Sniegel He has been lifting weights since he was 14, he is 28 now. 14 years to get a physique like that isn't a challenge if you're dedicated. Scott even said he could be much bigger but chose modeling over bodybuilding.

  • @aekalexi12345677 It is possible to get bigger than him without being on roids. He looks like that because he wants to be cut year round. He could get a lot bigger if he tried bulking.

  • This not the wrong way to do cable rows, but its not the right way. Cable rows are made with a poosibility to move forward, that u cannot do on other back machines. Its because you are going to move forward and stretch the middle back, in order to train it. You can also do what this guy is doing, but you do that easier on other machines.

  • Dam I want my body like Scott's

  • OK - so I've been using improper form, that might explain the lack of progress. Thanks for correcting my form. I'll start over tomorrow with updated form!

  • weightlifting straps are useful on this one..........if you wna go heavy

  • scott, please get shorter shorts

  • we dont know where we would e without u scott!!

  • to get the full advantage of seated rows you should pre load properly this involves leaning forward like your reaching for something in front of you pull with your lats and pinch your shoulder blades for a peak contraction.

one of the the most common mistakes around, take a look at how arnold and jay cutler perform them and you'll see why its more efficient that way as your increasing the range of motion and puling with your back not your arms.

    good luck.

  • form is everything

  • Back when I used to do this (not quite as slow), the problem was my grip wasn't strong enough. Had to stop reps to avoid letting go! :-)
