I'm guessing that its because there is some remote chance that Quail really couldn't spell "potato" correctly, but everyone knows Obama knows there are 50 states, even if he said 57 once. For that reason, an Obama tongue slip isn't really news. Now, that's not to say that they should have jumped on Quail, just that Obama's thing wasn't good news.

You were interested in why which is the basis of a question. If you don't care you wouldn't have typed anything in the first place nor would you have responded the way you did. This means despite your protests of not caring you, in fact, DO care.
A dichotomy is any splitting of a whole into exactly two non-overlapping parts. Simply put you say you don't care but your actions say otherwise.

You made a comment in this open forum and I left a counterpoint that, if not made directly as a reply to your initial comment would not have made sense. It was essential that it be left to you and the statement not only has merit but was a justified counterpoint to yours.
