Ignore that "Theoismagic" kid. He's only about 13, and looks to try to act like an adult by making immature posts like here. You're damn good, don't let anyone tell you any different.
@dinasaur2 oh ok ... guess it was a typical beginner question. i am so glad to have noticed how many live pen and ink videos are up here. otherwise i wouldnt be inking right now ^^ keep up the good stuff
Parker pen company have a set with a fountain pen and a set of three different widths fountain pen nibs for about AUD$25.00. Or any art shop sells the pen holder and different italic type nibs individually - Pen holder can vary in price from UD $3.00-$5.00. The italic nibs about $4.00 each.
your drawing sounds very scratchy, which with fountain pens, is usually a sign of rough paper or a nib that's not perfectly aligned. It shouldn't be that loud., unless you're using a lot of pressure, and it doesn't look like that.
Wow, amazing! I love watching videos like this. Great talent. Are you aiming to become an illustrator or cartoonist? You'd make a great one if you did.
Do you or does anyone reading this have a Parker Vector Fountain Pen and / or a Cross ATX Chrome Pen .. if yes would you please do a review. please and thankyou the Vector sells for 23 the ATX Chrome sells for 60-70. ..
yes, good art, but i personally don't like the pic because it's kinda creepy with all the mice with serious looking faces carrying around toy horses. sorta distrubing, but still good drawing
I have the exact same pen. tell me, i just bought a kit with that pen in it, and the ink doesn't work. I've seen several tutorials tell me that i open the pen up and poke a hole in an end of the ink cartridge, is that true? because these pens are very classic and seem good to use.
You mean you have an ink cartridge... In that case when you place the cartidge into the fountain pen the pen should make a hole and allow the ink to flow. I have not heard that you have to make the hole yourself...The fountain pen should do that.
u need to cut ur nails jk

you mean this fountain pen?
I like to use Noodlers' bulletproof "eel" black ink. It is the best ink I have used for drawing and it is fade proof and keeps on flowing!
