  • You seem to have spanned the generations here. I can't decide whether this sounds like Cream or Alice in Chains. At any rate, I love the vocals.

  • ahah, thanks James, that sounds flattering!! ;)) I still try to improve the sound, as when I mix more than 2 tracks with my cr... gear, it starts buzzing. I would have liked to prolong that final choir part for 8 beats or more, but unfortunately the lead track was finished already :o/ so that was an "invention while taping" lol! :)

  • Excellent. I dig it. Lots of atmosphere, as others have mentioned. Love the leaves too. ;-)

  • thankyou Todd, great to see you again! i very appreciate it! the leaves should symbolize we're all kind of leaves from a big tree! ;)

  • Very interesting original song Andreas ! sounds great !!! all thumbs up from me ! Karen -Girl :-))

  • thankyou Karen for coming by, I very appreciate it! it's a challenging song anyway I know; the more I'm glad you liked it! ;o)

  • So...I always have to come back and add more. ;) Forgot to say just how wonderful it sounds. Got carried away thinking about the excellent lyrics and the really interesting images. And where are you, my friend? You have been so scarce and I have missed you!

  • hey Nancy, well I'm late with responding this time here. glad you liked it in the end, I was definitely chewing my lips if to post it or not, I know the lyrics aren't just too cosy. :o/

  • Andreas....yeah this has a great flow and emotion.....really enjoyed listening to this song my friend .....and the combo of guitar and lyrics is awesome :)

  • thanks so much Duane for come & listen! I know it's just not a cosy and comfortable song, so I'm very glad you liked it!

  • Andreas that was fabulous! You have your own unique sound & style only you have,I can hear that right away. It's moody & cool, lots of atmosphere in your songs my buddy. Did you change the music & melody for it? I do that sometimes at the last second. I love it the cool background harmonies are excellent! Love your singing & great rhythm playing. Your guitar work is always great. :)) I noticed the change in a couple of words & it worked beautifully. You write some poetic messages. I dig it! :)))

  • hey Rick my awesome buddy! glad you have time to listen, I know I'm in fierce competition to Neptune beauties, and I surely lose that race, lol! the more I appreciate you come by! yeah I exchanged the complete tune, this one has a slight Judas Priest touch for me. thanks so much again for taking time to check the lyrics!! I was really a bit hesitating if to post this, but I think it's alright in the end....

  • Just a well crafted song. I especially love the vocals. great video BTW. Much peace my friend Frank

  • thanks a lot Frank! I very appreciate you coming by! I would have liked to have the final harmonies part longer, but when the first track (voice & guitar) was taped, I had to be guided by that. buon weekend!! :)

  • ripping good songwriting - and love the video

  • thanks so much for your appreciation, Ann!! I know it's a kinda difficult song in a way, glad you liked it!

  • That is one hell of a lyric..........WISH I'D WRITTEN IT

    Best Regards Les

  • thanks heaps Les!!! well alright, you can have the rights, no problem... ;))

  • Wonderful leaf-pictures! Put me in mind of kind of "fleshed-out" kirlian photography.

    Really enjoyed those! Very beautiful!

True song. I can't manage, I have to say, being someone who cares about people, to be a superficial friend, the way the social network seems to intend. And then, not able to really "know" people we know in this place, it is kind of a scary thing....this blind and trusting friendship. Oh, very complicated....

    Good song, Andreas. NAncy

  • thankyou Nancy for the true words! yeah there are both sides of the story, I think this "reaching out" with help of "talking wires" is a complicated thing, if we really want to come through to the essence of it! on the other hand it opens fantastic possibilities... I think the sheer amount is the problem...

  • Well, an interesting story about how this song came to be.

I always find it fascinating how writers like you, Dan, NAncy and others come up with songs. The music did seem a good match for the lyrics. Although, as usual, I am not quick to understand the full meaning at first or second listen :)

    I enjoyed this a lot:)

  • thanks a lot John for coming by and listen!! indeed, the songs seem to have their own life, and sometimes we're only a sort of midwife for them. don't mind, sometimes I even understand them myself, specially when they get this own life, lol.... ;)
