The Koran says that the universe was created by a large explosion, big bang. the earth was born after the big bang, but you must know that the big bang effect so far and continues to act for a time not known. one of its effects was the creation of the earth and its solar system. and still more planets and stars being born in beyond our reach. You should not understand or think that just after the big bang, the earth was born.

Particles did not exist at the big bang. These were formed after the big bang. Helium and Hydrogen atoms started to form 377.000 years AFTER the big bang. The word Heavens in this instance refers to the objects, all of which came from hot interstellar gas condensing. And gas must have existed before stars and galaxies, even if it's 300,000 years after the Big Bang. The Qur'an never specifies more than saying "after". As for the "steady" word; my Arabic Qur'an doesn't say "steady". It just says "and we are expanding it".

Claiming that the big bang was "Dust and hot gas or smoke" is a big indication that you have no clue what the big bang is. Smoke did not exist at the big bang. Particles did not exist at the big bang. These were formed after the big bang. Helium and Hydrogen atoms started to form 377.000 years AFTER the big bang. Only after 150 million to 1 billion years you have the formation of higher elements including "dust"

It is from the English translation authorized for use by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia website on Islamic Learning. I guess maybe that\s just Arab Islam and not the particular Islam you are familair with.
So the verse is just history and not a universal truth? Strange for a book which claims to be guidance from Allah, aka Satan.

Note it says FIGHT BACK and TAX. Muslims paid tax too.

Islam believes that Christians and Jews are "people of the book" in that they each are legitimate religions from God with their own legitimate book.
Now are there modifications within these books as time went on? This is another question. Islam says that the original book existed; whether or not that original book is the one today is something I won't get into.

In terms of common morality, all 3 books say the same: don't kill, don't steal, show respect for your kin, etc. As for Muslims, they believe the Quran is literally the words of God - thus it's perfect. The Quran really is a moral guide book - it tells how one should live their life; For me, is there anything in the Quran that I find immoral or wrong to live by? No. That is why I continue to choose to follow it. I also choose my own mind - but that still coincides with what the Quran says.
