Definitely the most violent kids show on at the time. It had blood, violence, anger, and awesome hair cuts. It took about 40 episodes to kill frieza and cell and about 60 for Boo. The villains always got stronger and never seemed to die. When they would come back again you would want to go super sayian 4, destroy your tv, and nuke your house over 9000 times. I'm sure they're people with anger management issues because of this show. Great show though!!! :)

It's interesting that most scenes used in this opening are from DBZ movies not series :p also it spoils Vegata go SSJ and Trunks.... to be more oddly first season ends quite before relvel of Super Sayian and for longer time they didnt show more episodes, which made me wonder for long time why the hell they turn on to blond hair in this opening... discovered the truth after watching local Polish DBZ that go without stop where version on CN was delaying to deliver new episodes ;p

I tried to deny it to myself but I just couldn't let go. I'm 19, nearly 20 and I still love this show so much. I own all the DVD's.

It brings back so many great memories, of me as a 10 year old kid, waiting for Science class to end on a friday, and running a half hour home, just in time to catch the weekly Dragon Ball Z episode. The adrenaline kept me going.

I can't believe that DBZ started in 1988 in Japan, before I was born! And didn't come to England until the late 90's.

I was right this the intro I watched as a child! Although I seem to remember in the UK getting a mix of the different dubs. We all started with the original rock the dragon ocean dub, then got the CN instrumental intro and then this though I seem to remember hearing some of the funi voices as well

Amazon.ca, the first and second season of the Ocean dub was released on DVD and VHS by Pioneer, though they are the cut episodes that aired on TV, they are pretty cheap (Usually) and shouldn't cost a lot to get a handful of em'.
