I bought the Paxton H.O. kit but they put the wrong pulley in the kit and I was pulling 12lbs. of boost.  Yes it blew up but I think you would be fine with 9-10lbs. of boost..... I'm just an idiot and never changed it till it was too late.

Yep..... The tune wasn't that extreme either. The new motor is a stroker with heads, cams, forged, and 14Lbs. of boost. Made 615rwhp on a conservative break in tune.

in a chasis dyno, no dude here in méxico its dificoult to find who do that, and who know, here you can find maybe 6 shops which has a dinamometer but its not professional, y put in the dyno with out blower 275 rwhp, now i think it has as much a 430 rwhp

Well the tune is very important and if its off you could hurt the motor in the long run.

There a limited number of people that work on them too..... Theres only one guy that will tune the Diablo and he isn't very good at it.

Mine was running lean on the top end after it was installed and I had to buy a Kenne Bell boost a pump to compensate...

yeah nvo vallarta its awesome, in car im like a 5 hours in car, i visit vta 4 or 5 times in a year, i bougth the vortech system with the oficial vortech distribuitor in méxico and they install all the system, i have any problem with the car but i want more power my 1/4 mile time its 13´s low cause the altitud maybe in sea level its another time

Well, You'll always want more power. I'm not sure what my altitude is but my car with the supercharger and some exhaust ran 11.8 in the 1/4 mile. You should really think about building the bottom end of the motor before you go for more power. I had 491rwhp and it finally blew up! The new motor is a Stroker, stage 2 heads, BBR cams, 16lbs. of boost and I will probably end up running race fuel just to be safe. Should get about 800hp.

I like the intercooler.... I think it lowers the temps a little better. Diablo is good as long as you can find someone to supply a tune but I'm not sure who to tell you to go to?

Make sure when you get a supercharger, you take it to a shop and have it properly tuned.....Don't just slap in a "Mail order" tune and run the crap out of it!!

Both made from the same factory....

Vortech has the after cooler and Paxton has the intercooler which is one reason I bought it.

Not sure I get your question..... Get good power out of it without putting your foot to the floor?? A supercharger adds power throughout the rpm band so you have more power no matter where your foot is. With a centrifugal charger, you have more and more power the higher the rpm's!

I didn't want a screw/roots type blower. A Turbo uses the exhaust to drive the impeller... Superchargers take power to make power being belt driven. I opted for the supercharger I got because I wanted the power to come on a little higher in the rpm band so I could hook good from a stand still. Roots blowers are instant power, hit the gas and you have full boost which is good, dont get me wrong, but the person that gets the power to the ground is the one who wins the race.

It was a stock GT and I slapped the "BOSS" sticker on it when I got it. The Supercharger is a Centrifugal charger and basically is like a Turbo only its belt driven.

Yeah....H.O.,just a little more boost, 10psi(actually around 11psi), and the intercooler is the only difference from the regular kit. If you have a stick, you'll get probably another 20-30hp to the wheels.
