Growing up in NYC in the early 70's was basketball heaven. If you could beat the sellout, you could go to the Garden in mid-town and see Clyde Frazier and Earl the Pearl play for the Knicks. If not, you could drive out to Nassau Coliseum on Long Island and see Dr. J do his thing for the Nets. It just didn't get any better than having a choice like that.
